Yeah, I think the deeper (like burgundy, cranberry, plum, or dark red) would go well with your coloring, etc....
I've never thought I could wear red well... eek..
I have a few pics of me in my red suit I'll have to dig up and get some opinions... I'm sure a deeper velvet color would be a world of a difference though

I am a geek I bought "What the judges want" and she specifically said to stay away from patel and light colors.. get the rich colors.. they look soo my better on stage
