This is one of the stupidest things I've ever read on here, and that's a fucking accomplishment.

Make a thread about getting rid of equal opportunity and Lestal will scream racist and say you should go to prison for it.

I honestly do not see why you would say this. Its things like the Vick case that really make me worry and wonder about us as a society.

We can fuck up animals all we want in certain context, and its cool.

Also, you can do all sorts of other illegal shit, and get a slap on the wrist (probation)

but since this is heated and emotional, some guy has to do hard time and lose out on millions of income?

He made a stupid choice, he should pay for it, but not be ruined over it. We all make stupid fucking decisions.

i say never let him own any animal again, and give him mandatory counseling and therapy sessions. and MAYBE fine 500,000 to a mil and make him donate it to a dog shelter or some shit.

not letting him play football (basically taking away his source of income which i thought was illegal anyway) or giving him time is bullshit.

also the people who say they dont care about people getting murdered cause people suck, but when an innocent animal gets hurt then its fucked up, are idiots, there i said it, morons.

He can play football all he wants, the goverment isn't going to stop him.

The problem is... everyone fucking hates him because of the peice of fucking shit he is and no NFL team would bring him on as player again.

the thing is dogs and cats are domestic animals that you keep as 'pets' people who own them love them like their own..

so its like putting their kids to fight each other

Also... people's real life family pets are often stolen from them and used in training fights and the such and then once too injured to continue in that capacity are released. Sometimes these animals make it back home all maimed and tore up and have to be put to sleep.

There's a real cost to real people as well... that have nothing to do with this bullshit...

that is some FUCKED up shit I agree. stealing someone's pet to use in that manner is inexcusable.

but, vick hasn't been accused of that.

BUT that is one of the many reasons why the sport should be ILLEGAL and punished.

But as I said, my point is, he should not go to prison over this, NO ONE should for their first dog fighting offense, I don't care if they were the grandmaster of dog fighting. Fine the shit out of then, probation forever, never own a dog, something, but prison? Lets keep it real.

its killing and mutilating them against their will no matter how you look at it. hes a fucked up person for torturing and fucking up all those animals, but hes not a danger to society...he needs therapy and shouldnt be allowed near animals, and maybe lose some money as a punishment to him...anything more punsihment than that, in my opnion would be a greater crime than he commited.

we cut up animals and sink our teeth into them and eat their flesh and pieces. people volenteer to fight eachother in sports sanctioned events. HUMAN fighting is legal. yeah yeah the dogs cant choose to fight, so its wrong, but with that mentality its equally as wrong to kill cows and eat them against their will

Killing animals for survival is not the same thing as pitting them against each other in torturous cruel fights!

Being a carnivore is a natual thing, humans have hunted for as long as they have been around.... so do lions, so do dogs.... that is NOT any more a crime than breathing.

Torture, Cruelty... those are crimes. The society you live in says so. Fucking live with it, like it or not - do it and you go to jail, those are the rules and he knew it.
