ye..i did the modified diet, ide recommend it. Its for those who are looking to drop bf%, but not competing.
 
For me this diet don't work that well. Well I loose fat, but my stomach goes nuts with all the veggies. I rather cut with low carbs. Anyone have the same problem that I have?
 
Alright..After getting side-tracked, screwed up and all that stuff I've decided to try this again. I weight about 165lbs, roughly 18% BF, and 5'10ft. I'm pretty active. I run the 100m, 800m, and do 100m Relay along with Shot-put every weekday. I'm also on the Old School 3 Day a week program. I've decided to start off by doing this on the first day:

6 scoups of whey

3 oz of boneless chicken

1-2 cups of broccili

4 oz tuna

4 oz steak

9 large egg whites

1/2 cup of cottage cheeze

1/2 cup of oatmeal

1 tbs of mayo

1 tbs of flaxseed oil
-------------------------------------------
protein 250g
carbs under 50g
fat around 50-60g
total cals are 1900 or so

(Took that from someone who posted it a few pages ago)

I can do that, but I can't do that every day, so that's where I get lost. I don't know what else to eat. The main problem is the 9 egg-whites since my mom's gonna go apeshit if I waste 9 eggs. The rest is alright for a day-today diet, but mixing it up would be nice. I'm looking for someone with roughly the same totals as that above. If anyone has the same stats as me, and they're doing this diet, would you mind posting some of the things I could eat to keep the totals the same. Others are encouraged to add their comments and tips, as well.

I think its perfectly ok to keep carbs to fruit and veg..as long as theyre low in gi...nothing wrong w it. Also, there is plentyof fat on this diet..so keep it up!!

are all the supplements in the list provided a must, if not which ones are a must(i know a multi. and vit. c are important)?

Maxout, there is a definite increase in cuts in the second picture.

I have been using this diet at 3500 calories a day and I am still losing fat.

I have to say it does work and the genius is in the simplicity of it.

I want to try the diet, but I think I may want some carbs. I don't want to deal with it. Can I follow the Atkins diet? Will Monitpora help burn some fat? I was thinking that 10 ml of B-Ionic may help buffer lactic acid, allowing better workouts. Can I just drink it, or should I inject it using the rectal method?

I heard "trout sniffing" could increase my testosterone levels, what does that consist of?

I could die for a popsicle right now, air is good, as is pussy...:ahem: I mean female company.

Everything else looks cool, just stick to the foundation foods such as salmon, tuna, chicken, veggies, flax (or udo's), birdseeds, vagina, oatmeal, etc. - and you'll get down to your 8% , no fucking problem.

Thanks for the diet Crum. Let me ask you a question, are fruits OK on this diet? If so, what kind? I've been on this diet for 3 weeks and have been eating Strawberrys and Oranges, is this OK?

what about fruit..?? Maybe like low glycemic fruits(apples,pears,etc)?
And you don't recommend eating any other type of carb during the day at all right..??? Like maybe that low GI fruit before the workout..??
 
Ok, I have been on a half ass crum diet and haven't lost crap. Anyhow, can you guys help me out, this is my plan....

meal 1 - 3 scoops whey

meal 2 - eggs/bacon/cheese- I am confused on how many eggs. When I used to have egg whites I would eat 8-10, so I could get the protein needed; but with whole eggs I am concerned of too much fat in one meal. I could cut the cheese/bacon. SO HOW MANY EGGS ?:confused:

Meal 3 - tuna / mayo / olive oil.

meal 4 (post workout) - 25g dextrose / 3 scoops whey

meal 5 tuna / mayo/olive oil and 1 cup+ of veggies (I split veggies sometimes between meals 3 and 5...

meal 6 - steak or burger or chicken breast (I'll cook at home, so whatever I am making that day.).

meal 7 - 50g casenite or 1 cup cottage cheese and olive oil.


This sounds LIKE it has to work no?? I am bumping up the protein intake on this phase. I have been doing it similarly for the last 3-4 weeks but no weight loss with less protein intake... I have been snacking on peanuts / walnuts (so maybe too much carsb?).

yosshimura: There are a number of variables that we need to better understand. First, how many do you weigh and many grams of protein per pound are you eating? Also, how many nuts are you snacking on per day? The calories from those add up VERY fast. Try measuring the nuts you eat instead of grabbing handfuls at a time.

Thanks for both responses. I was/am eating a shit load of walnuts thinking it was OK. But am going to cut them out if that could be the problem. I am not measuring how much I eat (handful:rolleyes: )..... Hey I needed some fat right ?:D

As for the veggies, I eat carrots. About a cup or a little more per day... I could switch to brocoli, but the farts......

Pork grind snacks? I have eaten some of these, but not on a daily basis. I thought with their no carb/ and yes fat they were good.

Cottage cheese bad? :bawling: I eat a container every day or two (each container is three meals)

Amount of protein per day? hmm... ABout 220-280.

I weight 187, so .75 = 139 grams of protein
and at 1:1 = 187 grams of protein.
But Crum's diet is 1.5-2.0g per lb of bodyweight, so=327- 360.

I am low on the protein, I can't imagine how much more to increase it unless I eat about 75g per meal... I thought the body only absorbs no more than 50g at a time...

My second meal of the day could be screwed up... I eat anywwhere from 6-10 egg /egg whites (sometimes less sometimes more eggs vs egg whites) with cheese, and sometimes with bacon.... Good/bad?

Thanks, guys. All I have accomplished with my meal is a decrease in muscle I think..... Oh, i am 5 8".....wanting to loose some body fat from the waist/stomach, but I am not fat, then again, my stomach is not ripped

Thinking about it, I bet a big problem is the amount of walnuts and (was eating peanuts) I have been eating, thinking it was OK, they are full of calories and too much fat and some carbs...

I have been doing this diet going into 3rd week. It is working
wonders for me! I lost a total of about 5lbs and getting leaner
looking to boot. Scrap the nuts, cottage cheese and carrots (like Velvet said:D And I think you should be good. You DO have to
add much more protien also. When you eat your tuna, make
2 cans instead of 1. That will add an additional 38g protien.
Add another whole food meal and maybe another whey shake
and that should do the trick. I am going with about 1 1/2 grams
per lb. I am up to 271, so that's a lot of protien. You'll get used
to the farts from the broccoli, I did:D Good luck!!

Damn, I have been eating carrots like crazy, and stoll eating cottage cheese :mad: . i had already cut out the nuts.... I will try bumping up the tunas, for example, and more olive oil (2 tablespoons for the tunas....

Hmm, what else? In the am I eat 4-6 whole eggs and some egg whites (I always total 10 eggs one way or the other....) too much fat there? I cut the cheese and bacon out of the eggs. Did I need to do that?

No. I don't think so. It all depends on how much fat your
getting on a daily basis. My advice would be to go to Fitday.com

ok, i know this post has been ran into ground but i have another ques. i am about to start this diet again, i have already been through it once with good success but i am going to run it longer this time, so what are some good substitutes for the green beans and broccoli? i did the green beans through the whole diet last time, all eight weeks and i don't like broccoli, so i need some alternatives for this time!
 
Ok I read through about 150 posts and no way am I getting through all 650 so can someone help me out with these questions:
1st- according to the original diet , you have to drink whey in the mourning. I'm freakin hungry, I mean really hungry in the mourning. I have to eat something. Is it ok to have like 6 egg white omlet w/ 1 slice of fat free cheese, and 2 servings of whey instead of 3?
2nd-This diet can get pretty expensive, so I was wondering if its ok to replace the salmon with like 2 cans of sardines in oil?
3rd-For veggies, is it any veggie ok? My mom makes this Veggie side dish with zuchini, white onions, green and red peppers, all cooked in olive oil.
4th-I have oxydrene and testrogel lying aroudn just waiting to be used. Is it ok to use them on this diet?
5th-I wake up and eat at 7:30am and workout at 9:30am, do I have to change the order of the meals besides the post workout?
I sound like a fucking newbie, but I couldn't find these answers in like the first 150.
 
I'm a cross country runner and was planning to try this in the summer when I will have time to eat all of the meals, I was wondering if it needed to be tweaked for hard distance training, since I might need more carbs.:worried:

was doing fine then 3 weeks into it I ran out of food choices so I started adding CKD meals and everything went to hell.


I'm starting again tomorrow, the right way. (All this time wasted).

i follow now this diet on 3rd day.
one question i take so many protein shakes instead of steak, cause i am busy man.... and my protein shake has 4 grams of carbs per serving. is that bad?

I cant get over how great EAS just whey is... If you search, you can get a 5 lb tub for 25 dollars! That is a great deal... The stuff is very low in carbs too...
In regards to your question about getting too much carbs with your protein, I would take Mr. X's advice
"Fat+Protein:
for every 10g protein you can have 1-3 carbs

carbs+protein:
for every 20g carbs you can have 1-2 g fat "

If your are disciplined enough to really follow the crumb diet, getting 4 grams of carbs in your 30 gram protein shake should not be a major problem....
 
You can't replace veggies with anything. Of course veggies aren't happening. Do you think veggies are there to satisfy your tastebuds? No my friend, there not their for enjoyment, They are there for Punishment.
