no.. we have an almost a complete lack of any accent whatsoever.. hence large companies like mci putting there call centers in the state..

People in Southern ohio talk like hicks. People in Northern Ohio have no accent. People her in Delaware have no accent either. It's weird. I use to have a southern accent and it's pretty much gone now.

in central MN we dont have accents Either, I asked this because I met a few peeps from ohio and they had hick accents. they kept on sayin yall, its wierd but I bet 80% of people in the US have a southern accent

don't confuse hillbilly accent and lexicon with "southern accent".. cuz i say "reckon," and "fixing ta," and "fittin ta," and "y'all".. but i think that's b/c i've lived in s.c. and florida and with my cousin who was from mississippi and what not.. but when comes to actual accent.. i have none
