Give yourself one. I don't go to the salon. They always mess up my cuticles. I have small hands and they always over do it (its like they don't know how to give manicures to small fingers). I love pedicures.

I'm taking a bubble bath & drink some wine too. I want to spoil myself today.
 
Woke up around 9am today - skipped morning cardio...... I have a TON of laundry to do - got Protan everywhere!!

I have a food hangover....
 
Ten minute break from class. OMG, I can't believe I have to start on a research paper this weekend. She expects @ least 20 pages on a Managerial Accounting topic. WTF? Topic & outline are due next Tuesday morning. I don't even know what I have to do for my other classes yet. I thought this semester was going to be easy.
 
Got home to a flooded basement last night..2-3 inches due to power failure when I was in Kentucky. Insurance not paying for it because I'm in a no flood zone and they failed to tell me that I didn't have a sump rider on my policy. I told them to cancel my policy and promptly go fuck themselves.

2k JUST to get it sucked out. I'm extremely full of hate right now.

Update...the dudes just sucked out 200 gallons and aint even halfway there yet. got the sump working and then the pipe broke...I'm soaked.

Plumber guy on the way to take some more of my money.
 
when August ends, I get sad.. summer is coming to a close :(

Awesome day....despite the 2 hours of sleep caused by game players that wont ever go away.


Almost was attacked by a swarm of bees...scary they killed some dogs the other day

My supervisor is going to teach me to surf....its going to be hilarious :dolphin:
 
My class was cancelled. Decided to stay a little late and clear up some things. I'm off on Friday (maybe Thursday too) and I want a clear desk.

I always like clear desk myself - I can't leave my desk a mess because it will ruin my day to come to a war zone of a desk.

And speaking of classes - I'm talking one starting next month - YAY!

And since I have spread my karma around - I really truly don't know.

I just bought some new desk stuff from - get this - TARGET - faux leather cool stuff. I bought a desk from holdeverything.com - HOT HOT HOT

So yah, I'm taking an AUTO CAD class.
Finally, I will hang up my drafting pencils and get with the rest of the world.

In summary - August was pretty stressful - did a show, fired my trainer - but I survived & get to do it all again in Sept!!! Yayyyyy!!!! But it's fun & the after-party for the Sept show will KICK ASS!! :chomp:
 
It's been a really really insane month in general. I feel like my entire life is different than it was a month ago but not in a bad way. Sometimes life has to turn upside down to make things right.

September is promising. ;)

Only a few hours left and that damn hurricane is just making it's way into my neighborhood. Raining and windy as all hell.
 
Aside from my elbow hurting so fuckin bad it makes me wanna never lift again, it's going great.

Hit goal at work, so i'll get a nice little bonus. Got a mtn biking trip in Utah planned for the end of september on the company dollar.and my B-day is in 11 days. I still haven't decided if that's a good or bad thing.
