awake and doing good thinking about taking a long walk...have some errands to run and hubby is at work with the car....walking is good and the kids like it
 
SO FRIGGIN HUMID here!! It is icky, nasty, wet!! I thought, oh, it'll be low 70's tonight, lets leave the windows open. WRONG!! Everything has that damp feeling now it's so humid. bleh.

I'm so ready for the fall and dryer weather

I'm am so HAPPY!!!! I've been with this company for almost a year. I'm still pretty new (some people have been here more than 25 years). I got a pretty big leadership role. I'm going to run a Intellectual Property Law Workshop for a conference the legal department of my company will be holding for high school students in January. No, I'm not teaching a law school class. But the leader of my group (the Lit/IP group) is so proud of me. He admired my take-charge attitude.

Pretty mixed so far, some good days some bad, more bad lately or should I say expensive. I need to start burying some serious bones soon cuz I spend too much as it is and don't have anything to show for it really. Shit, there's so many things I want to buy yet too, but priorities......

I do. Fuck this hot weather. I live too far from a beach now and too busy to enjoy it. I'm used to running down to it back when I lived at home.

*sigh* sacrifices....
 
I bought a new dishwasher today!! Will be installed/delivered on Monday.....yay!!!
 
gonna workout today.. first hard one for a while since i've had a cold.

Speaking of sushi, I hope my groceries arrive closer to the 8:00 hour of my 8-10 delivery window. I'm soooo looking forward to a 6oz raw Yellow Fin Tuna Steak w/ a little Miracle Whip on the side for dipping purposes.

To answer your question, that depends. Do you eat alot?

So, do I. I had 8 ounces not 6 (they did a good job this month picking out my fish) Absolutely delicious and a great meal for a hot day. Unfortunately, its back to chicken breats tomorrow.
 
ick, going to have to go in tonight. I just KNOW that they'll call me in after midnight for the train. Not 12 midnight, but it'll be like 12:06 or 12:13 some odd friggin time too.

Butterfly Sanctuary was OK. My daughter fell asleep during the intro and was really groggy when they let us into the live room. Maybe next time she'll stay awake for the fun.

I missed them too, I walked out of the gym well more like stumbled out and almost was :sick: oh I love it.... great day ;)

And wtlftr squats blow my legs up like crazy, so I needed a break from them, because of the competitions. But now I'm back to working on size, so the squats are back and I'm in heaven. :arty:
 
AUgust has been the worst month EVER!!! death of a good friend, HOT temperatures here in southern ca (im more of a cool 65->75 degree kinda guy), and my senior year at school starts in a week and i still have about 3 LONG hard summer projects to finish off...so i've gotta go suck up to the nerdy crew and act like i like them to get some help with that stuff :worried: - oh and today i woke up to finish 1 of my 3 summer projects i was actually working well on...to find that it's missing (my dad throws away every piece of paper visible to his eyes) so i'm not in the best mood right now...EF lets me forget about crap like that :)
 
Too hot this week got stuck doing heat treating and annealing at my new job yesterday. 100 degrees outside and I am stuck working with a 400 degree oven all day. But at least it pays well. :)
 
August is slooooowwwwww!! :rolleyes:

Can't wait 'till things pick back up here at work. The winter goes by so fast but the $$$$$ is killer!

it is now 2:24 am and just amde it home from the bar. Bleh. i haven't really drank in a long time. not feeling too good... plus came home empty handed. But because I wouldn't dare touch anything that was at the bar tonight, even with hammy's schlong

I'm feeling much better. Thank god my migraine is gone. I'm going to get out of the house today and go to the National Gallery of Art & Freer Gallery today.

Not only did I order way too many chicken breasts for the size of my freezer (they were on sale), I ordered the wrong kind (split breasts w/ bone & skin) (I only saw the price). So, now that I'm home, I'm in the kitchen making soup for the week and to freeze for later on. :rolleyes:
 
Despite everything bad going on in my life right now, I'm still high on life.

The good is so good that the bad doesn't factor in.
 
I can not wait for this damn month to end, it's official the worst August ever.

I just found out this evening that my grandfather died Thursday morning, and how did I find out?

Well my brother whom I haven't spoken to in 2 years called me and said "hi I don't know if you know or not but grandpa is dead, if you want to know when the burial is call so and so, bye"

I can f*cking scream right now....
