OK, so the trailer is all about "if someone hurt someone you love, how far would you go to get revenge"... uh, what they did.... I think ANY parent would do. I am so flipping disappointed... I knew better when I read The Hills have Eyes and Wes Craven on the box.... I wasted 2 hours of my life last night.

I will admit.... total chick flick gal here.... on another board everyone RAVED about this movie so of course the husband wanted to rent it and since I make him suffer through so many movies, I thought it fair. I think from now on.... we just need to invest in 2 separate living rooms

I ALWAYS check movies before going to a theater though.... especially Rottentomatoes

Scream 5????? You know what they showed remake that would kickass today is the Shinning. With the graphics and media we have today the movie would be badass.

The original shining.... being v. good, was slow for me.... with today's graphics and a bit more "thrill", it would definitely be a hit. When I was younger THE RING was my kicker... of all movies that would freaked the bejesus outta me.

Right. The whole tone for the movie started off slow. Today, I think more action would be the key to being a success as a remake.
