The Foundation of BodyBuilding!!

good post-how then would you advise someone who's male 5'8 150 was 170 as a teen is now late 20's and on a close to a zero carb diet as possible for 6 days and a 1 day carb up-Lifting 4 days a week-loose skin mainly covering what would be the abs-what can I do for the loose skin? and since I used to be fat, I'm super sensitive about eating anything that could put me back in that category. Is the diet I listed the right one for me(by the way, I eat 6times a day with total calories near2000

I look at the % like DIET=40% Training=30% Recuperation=30%. AS is just sort of an added bonus. A reward, if you will, for achieving 100% on your test of bodybuilding.

Fantatstic post.

I wish that everyone would realize this. I have seen to many people in the last month start a cycle expecting to look like something out of a Musclemag. Proper training and diet will go a lot farther, than expecting AS to be some kind mircle, where you just do it and voila you look huge and ripped.

I disagree...

AS is probably 50% of a successful physique....WHY?

Here is an example...I had no appetite...was gaining 1-2 pounds a month...tried to eat well...protein intake according to Body weight, took good fats (omega 3, 6)..and still very slow progress..(was also doing periodization and alternate workouts)...

Jumped on Deca/Dbol...appetite was unsatiable....went up 20 lbs in 7 weeks...

Sick but true.. I do agree that diet is more important than routine though..

The lack of success for most people is overtraining.
