That's GEAR -- the supplement. And it looked like there might be a problem.
I hope needto is cool with this...but I gotta say it.
As most of you know, I designed GEAR and tried to market it a while back but no one understood it enough to take it on. It was out of their comprehension. They wanted to stick to the same basic stuff. It wasn't until I got together with needto that he thought it was the perfect product for his customers.
But he had to make sure it was the real deal.
So together we went though all the literature and it was a slam dunk. The shit is simply beyond any other protein on the market and if there's one thing we know builds muscle for sure it's PROTEIN. Today GEAR is one of the most popular products available online...and with good reason. The stuff is a bodybuilders dream come true -- so much so that it almost always gets sold out before we can restock.
Now I told needto right up front -- this is NOT going to be cheap to make! The profit margin was not going to be like prohormones or even protein powders. It didn't matter. He knew it'd be awesome he wanted his people to have it. It's another reminder that needto doesn't just buy and sell whatever is out there. He sells the best, cutting edge products there is. That's also why he even carried protein factory's UNLEASHED and POST CYCLE. He knew his audience could benefit by them so he sold it FOR LESS than directly from the factory! To be honest the profit is barely a couple of bucks per bottle. No matter. They get results and that's the bottom line -- to be known as the company that only sells stuff that WORKS!
Well, over the last year or so, the cost of he materials for GEAR have gone up. Still, needto kept the same price. Now just recently, the price has gone up again -- leaving the profit margin to next to nothing. We spoke about what to do and you know what the big guy said? " Leave it. Don't touch the price. It'll just mean less people would be able to afford it and I don't want that."
That's not the response you get from most businessmen.
It just goes to show you. We get off on the fact that we have the best stuff and we love that the really hardcore guys know it. So if it means making a little extra money...it's cool. We'll get by. because they're going to sell. Because they work.
Now I can't say what will happen in the future. If the cost gets to a certain point, there may have to be a little boost in price, but for now-- we're all still in good shape. GEAR will remain at the same price and needto will still run specials and offer discount codes.
So if you get a chance, tell the big guy how much ya love him! LOL Honestly, I don't know any other supplement store that would take a hit like that just to provide a service to its customers. I think it's because y'all more than just customers. We're friends. Brothers. Men and women who share the same sick passion. And we want to keep it that way.
