TETRACYCLINE for acne

My wife was on that shit. But Tetracycline is to attack bacterial acne. There are several causes for acne and your doc has to determine that first. I think before putting you on antibiotics. For example if you acne is caused by an hormonal problem, tetracycline will do nothing for those pimples. For my wife, made wonders for her face. She's like a baby again...

Acne "caused" still has a bacterial component - acne is not purely a function of over productive sebaceous glands.
Who has used tetracycline for gear-related acne? How'd it go?

I used doxycycline for a month and it helped I little bit nut i have it reallly bad too on my back and shoulders now he put me on monocycline for 6 weeks and another thing I learned is to not scrub your back just let the water from the shower runnover it do not use soap on it or scrub it.

Agreed! I never had much steroid related acne until I ran winny and prop my last cycle. I ran both for 12 weeks so that may have been the cause. All I know is I will not run winny again and prop never for more than 4 weeks.
Oh and Tetracycline didn't do shit for me. I had a severe case though. Almost fully cleared up now,
Did a Sus cycle last summer and brokeout on my jawline.. It was cystic nodules along the jawline.. and didn't go away until 5 months later when i was on everything the derm gave me...differin, clyndamycin, doxycyclein , benzaclin, retina a micron...So for me it was hormonal vs bacterial....
Then this past April did an eq cycle and same damn thing....only now i have one nodule vs 5-6 along my jawline.. Done with the gear for now . Getting big isn't worth having a messed up face from acne!!

Try Murad topical acne treatment with 5% sulfur. It was reccomended to me by a pro female BB'er and I'm seeing it work wonders right now with my bf when nothing else made any difference whatsoever.

Well it depends on the size of the area you need to treat. If you're talking about some AAS inspired acne spreading from shoulders to butt then not too long. It supposed to be applied in a thin layer but with that kind of acreage to cover I wouldnt guess more than 2 weeks tops.
This pro I mentioned earlier reccomended Kiels astringent as a daily maintenance/preventative measure and the 5% sulfur acne Tx as needed. I'm watching my bf's big nasty Tren acne fade with a quickness. That stuff is working when nothing else made any difference at all.
You guys need to stop thinking so much about Rx antibiotics and just go to Bath & Body Works at your local mall and buy some of this stuff.

I used tetracycline and it didn't do too much. I was also on a prescription for dorx pills or something like that, that too didn't work. I went to my derm and took a blood test for accutane last week. I plan on doing my first cycle ever WHILE on accutane. Accutanes hard on the liver, so I'm only doing QV test enanat, 500mg each week for 10 weeks. The test should not affect my liver, and I'm hoping the accutane will limit the acne while on cycle.

My acne was caused by a test and tren cycle then another tren only cycle then clomid I have been off now since August and it is still really bad but since I started monocycline and not scrubbing my back like I had been previously I have noticed a pretty big difference. The huge deep down ones that hurt so bad have all gone away. So whether it was the mono or the not scrubbing I dunno but I am stoked either way!!!!

what were you washing with before? I've been using the neutrogena body clear body wash twice a day and not sure if ts doing anything. I guess I can try using nothing but that would be just like waht I was doing before I got the soap?
Fuckin acne, its a bitch! Even though it's only on my shoulders it's the worst.

I was using nivea body wash with a very coarse scrubber on the end of a stick to reach all my back and I swear since I stopped doing that 3 days ago my back is doing so damn good it is for sure getting better just leave it alone don;t wash it with any thing just let the water run over it thats it. Also citruscide made a post about changing sheets and that helped his acne on his face so just sleep in a clean t shirt every night I think that will also help I am going to start doing that tonight
try this..it is called dcl bprox 10 wash...i wash my back and face with this and it eliminated 99% of my acne..and i had tried it all before..this stuff works very well
