I'm pretty sure I injured this muscle when putting down some dumbells after doing an overhead press a while back while I was on.
Currently in physical therapy where they have me stretching bands and doing some electronic stimulation post workout to massage the area. Taking anti-inflamatory meds too. They believe its bursitus or tendonitus... I've been off for a while now (3 months+) and went to the doc because it would act up on me in the gym and get weak real quick, hard to workout w/ it on the back of your mind.
My question is, anyone know how long this type of injury takes to heal? They said I can't workout any upper body at all for at least 3 weeks but usually longer.
Would doing something like Deca help this injury heal (giving room to the muscle) or just mask the pain and make things worse?
