Guys lets see if we can help this new member out, he claims that the odor is so strong that if anyone came into the room they can smell it.

Sounds fishy to me,personally i wouldn't use it!
Anyone else have this experience?

Now all we need to know about is the smell issue, is there something i don't know?

In all my Years I never had that issue. Test is supposed to be clear or have a slight tint to it,depends on what type oil is used.

Never smelled test before but it obviously has to be strong if your smelling it and asking? How did you come to be smelling it? Curious

I have put drops of it on my fingers long ago just to purposly see what it smells like/tastes like....ect.... If you get it right up in your grill and really sniff the only thing you might smell is the actual oil. Which smells like...well.....oil.... But you'd have to have it on your fingers or something.
If it were Ethyl Oleate then that is a solvent and has an odor all its own but still isn't as strong as what your saying.

Throw that shit in the trash.

Like burn said up above me ive put some on my finger and put it right under my nose to see what it smelled like and couldnt smell anything except the actual oil.. You shouldnt be able to smell it like ur describing unless your really trying to smell it and even then its not a strong odor at all(can barely smell anything) I would be very cautious of what you have and probably just toss it.. Actually I would have it tested just for curiosity.

Gear is like gold to me. I've never wanted to lose a drop but this guy has me wondering lol.

If its dosed at 300mg/ml or higher you will be able to smell the test. It's got a slightly sweet scent. What the OP is probably describing is the solvents. Specifically guaiacol. that stuff has a very strong odor. When you inject with it you'll get a funny cardboard taste in your mouth. And your sweat will smell like it for a day.

I have broken several test vials over the years and I have never smelled anything but a faint alcohol smell. I would not use this at all.

I suppose if its got a high BA level in it you might smell it. Or again if its partially or totally made with EO.

I didnt catch the name before it got blocked out but you may want to post up in the "pictures of gear" forum on here and you should be able to get all the info you need. I'm sure theres got to be bros here that can tell you what its specifically made of.If its a solvent type smell and your not used to smelling it then yes it may seem a bit harsh.
