test prop/var cycle

Hey ya'll

running my first cycle
8 weeks this is what i was thinking

var 50mgs ed wk1-8
prop 100mgs eod wk1-8
nolva 10mgs ed wk1-8

im 5'11(183cm) 75kgs about 11%bf 25yrs old
i'll take in between 3,500-4,000 calories per day
i dont mind injections and i've heard that theres both less bloating and more drug intake w prop which is why i chose it. I also live in Thailand so my var cycle will only be about $250 which is why i opted for it over winnie(i can afford the small difference)

I will be lifting 5days wk, cardio(jogging or swimming) 1hr 6days wk

Im looking to gain about 5-7kgs of lean muscle while burning fat, hopefully dropping to around 7-9%bf

i have 2 questions:

1) is this cycle appropriate given the specific gains im trying to achieve? if not, what would you change?

2) recomendations for post cycle?

Just keep in mind that 8 weeks in a minimum for most people, I'd consider extending it to 10. Check out the PCT for 2010 sticky in this forum, it will help you figure your pct out. Add some phyto-serms 347 in your pct and you're solid :)

Isn't ^ this recommendation more for long esters, such as test cypionate and enanthate?

The OP is talking about Prop, which many people use for 6 week cycles.
 
You could run short like 6-8 weeks considering prop and var but like said I would extend to 10 also. Imo I would just keep nolva on hand no point in using unless you need it. That is low dose but can alter your gains just keep on hand.
 
You're 5'11 and only weigh 75kgs? Are you sure you're eating the 3500-4000 calories you say?

Or, if you're doing an hour of cardio/day like you say you will be doing on cycle you are probably crossing over the line of burning fat to burning off muscle...

Not understanding the nolva for 8 weeks on cycle...

Can you post your SPECIFIC diet and training routine? And any supps you're taking...

now im taking in about 3,000 calories per day, but i will up it when i start the cycle. i've always been a hard gainer though, and when i first started my business i actually dropped down to about 63kg bc i was unable to eat regularly, although i was not weight training at the time

currently i lift weights 3x per week mon-chest, back; wed- arms,shoulders; fri-legs

500 mixed ab/core exercises ed mon-fri

1hr swimming or jogging mon-sat

diet.. i try to eat every 3hrs
running(tues,thurs,sat)
10am roughly 2cups of oatmeal, .5 cup raisins
abs
12-12:30 protein shake w peanut butter(roughly 3serv 600cal)

2-3 brown rice or whole grain pasta, chicken
weights
5-5:30 protein shake w banana

6-7 steamed veggies, salmon or mackerel fillet
swimming(mon,wed,fri)
10 salad or low sugar fruit, fish or chicken

sunday i cheat and eat whatever i want, but i try not to overdo it too much

im very prone to acne which is why i had the nolva

You're not a "Hardgainer"

You're not eating enough, you're over training, and you're doing too much cardio...

Not eating enough is self explanatory...

Over training; train ONE bodypart per day:

Chest
Legs
Arms
Shoulders
Back

2-3 days on, day off

You're doing SIX HOURS of cardio a week, wayyyyyy too much, especially combined with the other two things I mentioned....

Try those changes and I can almost guarentee you'll put on some weight....

Also you need to make any changes before you start any cycle...

so i'll start making the changes to my routine and diet this week. if i see some good natural gains in the next 6 weeks or so maybe i'll hold off a little longer before starting my cycle

2 quick questions..

if i split my routine and shorten my time between eating to add 1-2 extra meals a day and 1 more protein shake w banana... is 30-40mins of cardio 6days wk appropriate if i would like some decent lean muscle gains?

also, am i overtraining my abs @5days per week?
