Test only for experienced users?

Hey guys I am 5'8 208 lbs. with a 13% body fat. I am planning my 5th cycle and have seen mixed opinions on a high dose test only cycle. I was thinking of going with 800mg EW of Test E with nothing else thrown in. The highest I have ever gone was 500mg but I was also stacking with another compound. So what do you guys think? Will this yield decent gains providing diet is in order? Have any of you ever done a higher dosed test only cycle? If so, Hoow did you like it? My objective is to build mass. Thanks.

You will make gains with one drug but I feel the gains are better with moderate doses of a couple drugs. I would at least throw in a oral kick start for the first 4-6 weeks to get you going. I have seen people run a gram or more of test and the benefits dont seem to outweigh the sides but its up to you. Try it out and see how you do.

I am 5'8 208 13% bf 28 years old. Training for 10+ years and have 5 cycles under my belt. My question is instead of doing test and another compound such as Deca, if I were to use test only and up the dosage to say 800+mg per week, do you think the gains would be as good or better than running a lower test dose with another compound? I have heard high dose test only cycles are great for gains, and I have also heard they are not much different than a lesser dose. Providing my diet is in order which it is, do you believe the gains on a 800mg per week test only cycle would be of good benefit to size gains? I have heard mixed opinions on this. I have even heard some bodybuilders swear by high doses of just test for offseason growth. Thanks.
 
Guys, stop with the "Bodybuilders do this so I'm gonna do it...."

With a spot on diet and training a test only cycle will do you well...while you could bump the test a bit; 800mg/week seems like overkill...

I wasn't thinking I should do it since bodybuilders may do it. Was just suggesting that I have heard higher dose test only cycles work well for size gains. I have also heard they do not work better than lower doses. So with 5 previous cycles under my belt, what would you suggest my dose for a test only cycle should be since I will be using one compound instead of 2 or more? The highest I have ever gone with test is 500mg EW, but like I said, I had other compounds with it. My body seems to be very used to the same old 500mg. So to hopefully boost my gains a bit, what dose do you guys recommend? My hope is that if I go with the right dose, I could make up for not using another compound. Thanks.
 
give us some more details on your previous cycles...

what is the highest you went.. was that your best cycle? what was your best cycle?`

sorry but its hard to just give good advice w/ out much info..
 
Good point Tom. My first cycle was test at 500mg per week. Second cycle: test again at 500mg per week. 3rd cycle: test at 500mg and deca at 400mg. 4th cycle: Test at 500mg, Eq at 600mg, with 30mg D-bol. My 5th cycle was test only at 500mg EW and it seemed not so great after some of the previous cycles. So excuse me, this would be my 6th cycle then. The test with deca, and the test, eq, and d-bol were my best cycles. My very first one was good too. My last cycle of test only at 500mg didnt seem so great and my diet was great. So given this cycle info, what would you suggest for a test only cycle dose to hopefully make up for not using any other compounds?
 
go over 500.. maybe 700 or more if you are willing to deal w/ it.. but focus on freeing up the test with proviron or unleashed... that will allow you to still stay on the lower end of total dosages.. like 1.5g etc etc.. free test matters way more.. and you wont get all bloated or have to load up on anti e's as well

also just kill it.. focus 100% in the kitchen and the gym

Does 750mg or more of test really make a big difference when compared to 500mg? My thinking here is that as I continue to grow and gain more cycle experience, I will need to increase my test dose if 500mg isnt working for me the way it used to. My goal here is to pack on some good size and I hope to do this by upping the dose to make up for the fact that no other compounds will be used. By the way, has anyone here ever run a 750mg or more test only cycle AFTER already having done previous cycles with multiple compounds? If so, what were your gains like?
 
I have done more cycles than I can remember and at dosages that make my eyes water , and I still love a test only cycle , and I still grow on as little as 700 mg a week
 
Just remember the more test you add the more chance that sides will occur,so have everything on hand before starting, including PCT!

IMO it's not safe to say that...I'm a "more isn't always better" kinds guy....there can be other ways to maximize gains without using more gear.....I make more gians on cycle with better diet & training @ the same dose....

800mg test alone is nothing.. especially for 5 cycles in..ur gains would be better at 500 test/400 deca tho...test doesnt really do much alone...it does but it doesnt..if you can handle dbol you can handle 800mg test..dbol has worst sides

No! you do not have to increase dosage, the most i would run is 750mgs and Thats it! people fail to realize that your body is in an anabolic state, therefore you need more food since food is the most anabolic substance you can put in your body!
As far as Gear.....More isn't always better.
 
Thanks for the help guys. My diet is pretty good. 6 solid meals a day rich in protein and complex carbs. So given my stats and cycle experience, more test wouldnt make for a more promising cycle? Is it time to maybe throw a little tren in? I am concerned about the potential side effects I keep hearing about with tren. My whole idea here was to pack on as much size as I can while keeping cycle costs down as work is slow. I am looking for a great mass cycle for a man on a budget you could say. Diet and training are good to go.
 
test only is fine.. again it creates a very nice anabolic environment.. then you just have to take advantage of it.. eat like a horse and train like a monster and get the right amount of rest.

i know lots of people who loved 500-750mg of test only but didnt like 1g or more.. sides increase and that sense of 'being on test' was lost
