Test & cardio/fat gain

Hi guys just a quick one, is cardio in the am a bad idea whilst bulking on test, I want to bulk but want to keep the fat gain to a minimum. Cheers
 
i would do am cardio if you see yourself smoothing out, the test very anti-catabolic so as long as you eat well for the rest of the day you should still gain, while the am cardio eats fat.

AM cardio is fine while bulking 30 minutes a few times a week is fine.


If you are bulking though, I'd down 50grams of protein AM as well before doing cardio. Your body will still be forced to use the fat as energy as it cannot process proein fast enough to convert into energy, and will also increase the anti-catabolism.
 
Is that protein intake in the morning beneficial even when your off gear? Just to maintain mass while loosing fat.. the reason I worry about AM Cardio is the fact that when you wake up, your body's protein reserves are depleted
 
I disagree (sorry) AM cardio on an empty stomach 12 hrs after your last meal will do a hatchet job on BF because the body has no choice but to dip into those fat stores for fuel.after that the demand for nutrients are so elevated you will need a hi calorie /protein shake to supply the nutrients.

sure you can take a shake before cardio ,but! you are supply the body with fuel to burn and defeats the whole purpose of burning fat, it may raise your metabolism and burn some fat over a peroid of time but nothing like the latter.

Cardio on an empty stomach will dip into your fat stores, but it also will use muscle as engery too. Always eat before and after any kind of workout, cardio works well, but you have to do it long term and regularly for it to work.

Body fat comes and goes with the diet first and foremost imo.
 
Yes first thing in the morning but not untill you've had a shake...
 
Pre shake sounds like a good idea to me... The am cardio to keep u healthy and ya it might not be optimal for fat loss but when alls said n done at the end of the day do the math... Calories in calories out... U will burn some fat or at least have less fat gain than u would if ur lazy ass just slept in ;)

This flat out works. Sip BCAAs during the cardio to help reduce any muscle loss. After cardio have a protein shake with complex carbs. Try this for a few weeks and you'll be convinced!
