-OVERVIEW-
Destined leader John Conner — the target in Terminator 2: Judgment Day, who now runs a computer programming company — hacks into Cyberdyne Systems' computers and discovers top-secret operation "Skynet." Soon thereafter, two terminators are sent from the future: The T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is sent to protect him from the T-X, a nearly indestructible female terminator able to change shape and disappear altogether. The shoot wrapped yesterday morning. 09/10/02 opens sometime in (2003)

i heard on some news show that the bad guy (the chick robot) can control machines with her mind. sounds like it's going to be a let down, but it will be good to see old arnold again lol. i just never got why they only send one good terminator/bad terminator at a time, oh yeah it's a movie.

The movie is going to be complete shit. I used to have the attitude "It will be nice to see Arnold onscreen again.", but not anymore. He's came out with too many B-grade pieces of shit the past ten years. T3 wasn't even directed by James Cameron. It's gonna suck shit, trust me.
 
No faith! Arnold has laid out some stinkers in the past couple of years, but he was just slow coming back after his operation. He did some bombs, but now sees he has to go back to his roots. I think T3, King Conan, and True Lies 2 will mark the return of Arnold. He has already stated that the dir. made him gain weight for the movie, for the nude scene in the start of the movie. I saw one pic of him, and he got big again. Maybe 225-230. I for one am getting excited! In 2003 people will be saying Vin who? Rock who? Matrix what? Arnold will be back!

Was T2 not better than T1? Do you really think aronold is gonne fuck up the terminator role? hell no. Its gonne be great. Im just looking forward to see how good of a shape he has gotten into.
 
This is the T-X in question. Apparently, she's a model-turned-actress. Yeah this movie is gonna be great. :rolleyes:

T2 was better than T1 but it closed the book and left no room for a slide in. It would have been cool if there had been an invasion of Terminators or something like that.

Further the competition is fierce in the SCI-FI market. Especially with LOTR and MATRIX sequals coming up.

They left a few. Cameron was kinda thinking ahead since he wanted to leave all options open in case he ever had the chance to do a 3rd terminator. If you can remember part of his arm gets crushed in some big gears in the metal factory at the end. It is a mangeled arm but still useful. They did throw a piee of the arm in the molten metal, but that was from the computer lab. I also read from some reviews a while ago that the Black Computer guy had a piece of the computer chip in his hand when he died. There's a few different angles they can use to get in. Plus-John Connor is still alive which is a good enough reason if any to come back.
 
Who cares if she is a model turned actress. Robert Patric was unhead of when he did T2, and look at the fine job he did. Also Arnold, James Cameron, etc were not known when they did the first one. Infact all James was known for, was a crappy subpar Jaws rip off horror movie. My point? Don't flat out say it's gonna suck. Give it a chance. It might just be awesome. Sure there is the chance of it blowing, but I think it's a small chance. I for one am looking forward to seeing the return of Arnold.
 
I can't all of ya'll want to see this because a 50+ year old dude in it. I for one look foward to seeing TX in action. I thought they were going to pick bull dyke looking chick for the part like Grace Jones or something. Now we get to watch Arnold beating up on a good looking chick. Oh the feminist are going to love this one.
 
It's going to suck. Maybe not compared to the putrid tripe Arnold's been in lately, but up against the first two "Terminators" it will suck rancid twat mucus, yes indeed.
 
I really hope it doesn't suck, but deep down I think it will.

Kind of like the new Star Wars movies suck compared to the first trillogy.

Or maybe T3 will just suck in general -- like it'll make a Pauly Shore movie look good. :(

No doubt frack, I can't believe these dudes keep talking about arnold when there is going to be a chick that hot in the movie.
 
I heard they'd had to stop shooting shooting b/c the movie was way overbudget, but I guess that was just a rumor.

July 3, 2003 is the release date.

I think it will kick ass. If a movie costs $100m+ to make, its most likely going to at least semi-badass. Terminator 2 was better than the first Terminator, and its rare that sequels are better. The director of the 3rd movie knows that, and knows that the comparisons are going to be there. James Cameron doesnt have anything to prove, but this director does, so fuck-ups will probably be kept to a minimum.

You are guys are crazy if you think T2 was better then T1. Arnold was a total putz in part 2. The original terminator was much better. Faster paced, more gritty, much more suspense, and Arnold is better as a sinister killing machine. That whole scene were he says he understands why humans cry at the end of T2 made me want to puke! Whats the point of Arnold being a Terminator if he can't terminate anyone, fucking weak.
 
Even if it does suck it is still going to make millions of dollars. Just because of all the loyal Arnold fans out there like us that are going to spend 20 bucks to go see it within the first week. I guarantee you that it is top dog on the movie charts the first couple of weeks. If for no other reason than for that female terminator.
 
theyve been shooting and are still shooting the film past downtown LA, and guys come on, do you realize how hard it is to come back and make a movie that is better than T1 or predator 1, those movies are classics, hell just an example look at guns n roses after appetite for destruction, they couldnt do shit right, Its so hard to duplicate success in hollywood to the extent of some movies that arnold did in the first part of his movie career, sure the sequels arent as good, but arnold is still the king of action movies, I dont care what anyone says, bruce willis, steven segal, vin diesel, the only guy who can be up there with arnold in this area is clint eastwood, he is the one who arnold looked up to and he is the one that brought us action movies with Dirty Harry. Arnold will always be arnold, you go to see the movie just for him, if it sucks then it sucks, but you can always say through the evolution of arnolds films, from pumping iron to twins he is the greatest!

Yep...I'll be there. T1 and T2 were in a class of their own. T1 was a better movie while T2 was more entertaining more of the time. Arnold is perfect for Terminator roles. I think T1 kind of made him a Hollywood star didn't it? He would be an interesting guv of CA.
