Tendons are killing me!!! wtf

Stiffler

New member
here is whats been happening for the past 2 months straight. everyday I wake up some part of my body (joints only) hurt like HELL! usally its my knees and sometimes my elbows. and the bottoms of my feet always hurt more so on certain days. right now I cant bend my to middle fingers on my left hand and yesterday my right side of my jaw hurt to the point I couldnt close that side of my mouth and the day before that it was the other side of my jaw.

now I have been to a doctor and run a few tests on me and she THINKS its because I eat to much protein ((200-225g a day and I weight 185lbs)) the pain is right where my tendons meet the bone, and when I get a pain in any part of my body I cannot starighten it out no matter what, and I limp like crazy if its in my knees!
does anybody have any input on this please help! its killing my workouts!:(

Damn I'll bump for you. I know some part of me always seems to hurt or its like its its not one thing its always another. I think its actually that way for everyone BUT no where near as bad as you sound.

Did she give any reasons why protein would cause such bizaare and seemingly random conditions? Thats sounds a little odd but then again if one system is in pain in your body who knows how many others it effects in the long haul.

ive tryed msm and that glucomsine or how ever u spell it. nothing seems to help ive been taking my moms anti-inflamitory pills called RELAFEN along with ideprophen, asprin and now of this stuff eases the pain... any suggestions I could suggest to my doc I'm going to go see her again on friday and I want to suggest maybe some ideas to her.

btw- she said that maybe my calcium intake might me to low in combination with high protein itake could cause these symtoms along with my body needing calcium since I snapped my humorus bone back in may of this year.:(

well I broke my arm in may and didnt start workingout again until september so I had 4 months off straight 3 months ago. and the pain started out slowly about 2 months ago and progressed to more painful things.

I believe this happened to me last year around the same time but just to one knee. and it only lasted for about 2.5 weeks I went and saw another doc about it and she didnt know what was up.

any other suggestions?

Hey bro!! Good to see you on the Tboard again, but sorry this shit is still bothering you. I know it's been going on for a long time. Arm's back to normal I assume?

I'm afraid I can't add anything to what's already been suggested. Seems like you've already tried just about everything. Only thing I can recommend is that when you see that doc next time, have her refer you to a specialist; an orthopedic surgeon, sports doc, someone like that. I think since this is hurting you this badly and has been going on for this long, and considering your age, you need to have a pro check you out.

Hope things get better for ya man!!

thanks gymtime! i think im going to go to the doc who worked on my arm shes an orthopedic surgeon over thanksgiving break. she what she has to say.

My friend recently found out he had some rare blood disease and before they really knew what he had the Doc was telling him it had to be his suplements that was causing his probs. I think alot a times if a doctor doesn't know what the problem is they would rather guess instead of saying they dont know.

Be careful and go to a specialists and take lots of Motrin. Also stress can cause some wierd stuff to happen to your body to.
