Any stories about test e causing tendonitis. I've been on it for about 4 weeks now and my forearms have seem to developed tendonitis. Really hard for me to work out my biceps for the pain. He suggestions? Or anything that would knock this tendonititis awa?

I would venture to say it is not the test but your incrased intensity and strength increase that are causing the problems. Your tendons and what not are not going to grow as fast as your muscles so make sure you don't get too carried away on your lifting there animal. (thats your new nickname...ANIMAL) :p

To ease the pain, alternate ice and heat and take a small amount of advil or whatever, but not much. I had some tendonitis about 4 weeks in and would take 200 milligrams before my back and bi day when it bothered me the most and that helped. My wife would massage my elbows and that REALLY helped.

I totally agree. The only other thing you can do is drop the intensity by lowering the weight and doing higher reps. What is your rep scheme now on bis? At times mine would get sore when I was doing too much work in the 5-7 rep range, and when I lowered the weight so that I could get out 10 reps the pain was gone within 2 weeks.

I mean it's bad. I can't fully grip anything or if i do i have to release really slow or just a shot of pain and burn sensation will shoot through my forearm. I've dropped weight yesterday i did straight bar curl with just the bar and i could only do like three and my forearm was hurting so bad.

Usually 7 to 10 reps

you can also experiment with different grips while you are working out. I did notice on certain excercises, especially pulling type excercises it would help a little to bring my thumb over on top of the bar. Just a thought.

Tried different grips doesn't help. I guess i need to go to the doctors and bite the bullet. Thanks for all the replies guys.

I dealt with tendonitits of the elbow/bicep/forearm for about 5-6 months. I started using Lubriflex by Schiff (Costco carries this) its a Glucosimine with Hyalauronic acid and some herbs. I take two tabs once a day of this and then take 1500 mg more of Glucosimne with MSM at night. It took quite awile for this to really help, but it does help some.

Now heres the real kicker, I was having the same problems with bicep exercises being next to impossible, so at the prompting of a friend I tried acupuncture. You need to find a real chinese acupuncturist, mind you. It all seemed a little voo doo to me, 8 or 9 needles in arm, and in legs (all for the elbow) and they leave them in for 15-30 minutes and twist them once in awile to twang the nerves they get the needles on. They even heat up a few of them with heat lamps, weird, but low and behold after 6 or 7 treatments I have zero bicep pain, yep, zero and it has stayed gone for almost two months now, even with lifting as much as possible again. I still have some pain in the elbow, but not any shooting pains or hinderance for doing bicep exercises anymore.

Anyhow, this combination has been pretty amazing for me, and I tried everything under the sun prior to this and nothing worked, short of giving your elbow total rest until it heals.

Prolotherapy works wonders for tendonits. I had it in my elbos so bad I could curl 15lbs or push open a door at the mall. There is a pretty comprehensive list of prolo docs at getprolo.com. Also there has been various posts here about it.
