telling people you are not on steroids...

My favorites so far include the post of telling people that I'm complimented and that I'm using supplements... or telling them I'm on hrt from a physician, I think I'll tell people I'm on derma and unleashed since they don't make M1t anymore... there is no way I could keep a straight face and tell people I'm on creatine, and that I say my prayers nightly, and eat lots of chicken...

I say my prayers nightly,

It worked for Hulk Hogan

It appears that the usage of steroids has been so badly stigmatized that "ole granddad" dbol has had a stroke! LOL Thanks to fuck ups like "Chris Benoit"! And the many other stupid fucks that didn't know what the hell they were using or doing with steroids in the first damn place has put crack cocaine and many other drugs higher on the ladder of "socially accepted drugs". Even booze beats out
steroids. No one has yet asked me about my steroid use. I have seen the looks
and the staring, but no dares not approach me. I guess their afraid I might go for the jugular vein! AARRGH!! And that's a good thing! LOL

Anyone who has been around joosers or has joosed is going to know, don't kid yourself.

I think it depends on who asks you, there wouldn't be any standard answer.

To your non-gym going work collegues or friends, you could tell them anything, even that you are dieting and you look bigger when you take bodyfat off.

To other gym goers, tough one, it depends if they are the newbies or other experienced BBers.

Thanks,

I do think that lying at times just makes you look like an idiot.

How many of you have already said time and time again "He said he was natural, what a joke".

Just think, someone else is thinking that about you, "Just who does he think he is fracking kidding"

For those of you in the US, I realise that the current climate makes it a lot more difficult to be honest, but still.

If you are in a situation that it could compromise you legally, at work, of course you lie to cover your ass.

The whole thing about lying to your significant other, an entirely different thing, personally, I would never get involved with anyone that I couldn't be completely honest with them.

But why lie to another experienced bro in the gym?

Or even an inexperienced one?

Even if they are LE, some of them use. Actually, probably a lot of them use.

If you are knowledgeable about training, diet and AAS, why not help out another person.

One of the reasons I love my gym so much is that it is like a little community of like minded people.

I know which lads are on, I know which lads are having relationship problems, I can sniff out the newbies that are going to be stupid about gear and those that are going to put in the time to build up their bodies.

Most of you are clever enough to be able to suss out those things as well.

Also you never know, one of your fav lads on this site could be that guy in the squat rack next to you.

:)

Such a pragmatic wise answer, and I totally agree, however, the current cultural climate of gross misunderstanding of steroid use in the US is due to so many factors... mainly a consumeristic impetus placed on the media that has led the media tendency to overexaggerate just about everything... has made the main culture envision people who use gear responsibly as salivating roid raged neanderthals... I just started seeing someone and she has no idea what pct is, and thats okay with me... maybe if it gets serious I will have to take the time and effort in deconditioning her to popular American culture... but here in the bowl games and barbecue culture of the US where there is so much hyprocysy and ignorance concerning things like nootropics and gear... even my closest friends have no idea that I use gear... secrecy is of the utmost importance... :chomp:
