telling people you are not on steroids...

why would I do that?

Thanks,

I do think that lying at times just makes you look like an idiot.

How many of you have already said time and time again "He said he was natural, what a joke".

Just think, someone else is thinking that about you, "Just who does he think he is fracking kidding"

For those of you in the US, I realise that the current climate makes it a lot more difficult to be honest, but still.

If you are in a situation that it could compromise you legally, at work, of course you lie to cover your ass.

The whole thing about lying to your significant other, an entirely different thing, personally, I would never get involved with anyone that I couldn't be completely honest with them.

But why lie to another experienced bro in the gym?

Or even an inexperienced one?

Even if they are LE, some of them use. Actually, probably a lot of them use.

If you are knowledgeable about training, diet and AAS, why not help out another person.

One of the reasons I love my gym so much is that it is like a little community of like minded people.

I know which lads are on, I know which lads are having relationship problems, I can sniff out the newbies that are going to be stupid about gear and those that are going to put in the time to build up their bodies.

Most of you are clever enough to be able to suss out those things as well.

Also you never know, one of your fav lads on this site could be that guy in the squat rack next to you.

:)

no problem. you are correct. no point lying. i simply tell no one what im doing. i havent gotten asked that in years anyway. stay in great shape year round and that will keep people guessing.

Judgement call. If they are experienced, you might tell them the truth. If they're 17-22, lie. Too many young guys and noobs doing steroids.

honestly, i am a guy who doesn't juice and i don't give a flying rip if you do. everyone has diferent goals, i wouldnt make a big deal of it. Funniest guy i ever met was at my last gym in WI. I asked him what sups he was taking because he looked real good. He told me Hydroxycut Hardcore and juice, I laughed. I thought it was hilarious how open he was. He didn't make a big deal of it, and nobody cared in the gym. Now one other guy was a real jerk to everyone about it. Nobody liked him because he was just a jerk, not because he juiced.

Its easy for me....I don't take them yet! I would tell anyone anything. Its not their business. If someone ask or questions give them a sample of your diet plan and workout plan and tell them to try it. Due to being a wrestler and a case of mono my senior year I graduated weighing 135lbs. Very sad being 18 and 135lbs. I now weigh 225lbs, 90lbs more and no one from high school even recognizes me. I get the oh you must be on steroids all the time. Its a little irritating because I've put so much hard work and focus on changing my body naturally. I'm trying to reach my natural limit before I go on an HRT program, which I would suggest for most people to do. When people ask about if I take steroids I tell them nope, but I plan on going on it legally in a few years.
