"System Tool" virus on my computer

Anyone ever get this? Its totally locked up my laptop and im going to have to take it somewhere to get fixed. Unless one of you robs knows how to fix it. I cant even bring up task manager, no internet, all desktop icons frozen, etc

Im on my iphone now in case youre wondering lol
 
crap...I dont remember the whole procedure but I somehow got hitman pro (its a "cloud" style antivirus and free) onto my desktop when I got this same virus and launched it in safe mode...it ate it immediately

do you have another computer besides a phone to use to google the virus and see what others have used?
 
If I remember correctly it's malware and malwarebytes will remove it
Since you can't get online you'll have to download it on a flash drive to run it on your laptop in safe mode

It happened in about 1.5 seconds. I was google searching something, Vuze wasn't even open on my computer, I clicked on a website and I saw Vuze open up in my toolbar and quickly close. Seconds later I was infected. Luckily I was able to find out what the problem was using my laptop, downloaded the solution onto a flash drive and fixed it. Instantly removed Vuze from my computer and it's been fine every since.

Vuze = Virus Portal


I bet it's why they both start with V



I also bet Just...V has some viruses as well
 
Here we are almost three pages in an no one else has pointed out that he's using an Apple OS to communicate with us on how to fix his Windoze product.

Hope everything works out SD. You gotta keep poasting up!

I've not been real crazy about Azureus since it started becoming progressively more bloated with every new generation and morphed into "vuze". It used to be so simple and clean that an intermediate user like me knew how to configure it in advanced mode. Know I honestly don't know wtf it's doing.

i had that, and was able to open in safe mode and then use a restart point/system restore. its fine now. maybe take out battery then start in safe mode, press f8 then go to start menu and restore from there
