I didn't know what was going on over here when I posted that. I wasn't even online til this afternoon. Once I read your post and figured it out I thought it was inappropriate and I deleted it. It floors me that people can feed on created drama.
Were they called Ganglionic cysts? My brother had to have those removed from both his wrists. They were on back of each wrist right where it bends. I remember he couldnt close them for the pain before they were taken out. I hope you feel better soon.

Yes ganglion cysts. When you strain your wrist a lot you can start leaking the goo that lubes the wrist bones. Then it forms a cyst. Normally they form on top of the wrists and aren't a big deal to take out. Mine are on the palm-side of my hand on the tendon. So there is a lot of blood around the site. That's why they tried to push all that blood out-- next time we'll have to do it all differently.
Puc-- I agree. The versed is the only thing I'll look forward to on round 2.
VDL- I can actually type pretty fast with one hand. Right now I'm using 2 because I just took pain pills and it's okay.
I worked all day. It was interesting because it was hard to do normal things with one hand. I was a tough cookie though and did fine. On a happy note, I was high as a kite from my pills and everyone teased me all day for having a "glassy" look in my eyes. Plus I was more subdued than usual. Everyone at the office frets when I'm not perky enough.
Planning on babying myself over the weekend while icing and elevating my hand. I shouldn't really be driving so I'll likely be home. I think I'm going to lay down for a smidge. Thank you all so much for your well-wishes....it means a lot to me.
Glad to hear that you came through the first one ok. Hate to hear that you have to do it again! Sure hope you're feeling better! Hang in there....you've got a ton of support behind you.
