Because when you train...you hold your breath (to an extent) which put pressure on the eardrums...Since the new titanium bone replacement is attached to the eardrum, he wants it to heal over so it won't pull out of the cartlidge. The replacement looks like a miniature thumb tack, with the wide, flat end being attached to the eardrum and the sharp end attached to the other bones.I wish you a full recovery. I'm curious about something. Since you got an ear operation, why won't your doc let you train?
