Im in the same boat. The only solution for me (and I havent been able to utilize it the best becuase of injuries) is to always use gear when bulking, always use gear when cutting. Between cycles just try to maintain as much shape as possible to the next cycle. 1 bulk per year ( in fall/winter ), 1 cut per year ( in spring/summer ).
