Stuck at plateau for bulking up- got 2.5 weeks left

Phenotype X

New member
I'm pretty much stuck @ 178lbs @5"9' for my bulking period. I got less than 20 days left and can't gain anywhere past this 178. I'm all natural, and eat about 6-7 meals per day. Each consisting of mainly Chicken breast, Tuna, Red Meat (especially steak), lots of rice, Pasta, Vegtetables, Protein/glutamine/creatine/flax with very consistant training. I get up to 4500 calories a day if I'm lucky, but average around 4100, just to sum up my diet. Is there anything else I can do specifically during this period to gain some clean, bulk??? Please help.

i dont see anything with your diet, what is your macronutrient breakdown? try a 50/30/20 with carbs/pro/fat the high amount of carbs worked good for me. are u doing cardio, if so maybe you would want to take a break on that.

How much Flax are you taking? I would recommend 1.5-2 tbsp per day for your weight.
I also agree with 110% that the 50/30/20 works good. I am bulking with very close to this % and its working pretty good!
Also would recommend at least one cup of oats ;)

Phenotype what's the biggie? You need calories... so take in more calories. If you can't take it in w/ wholesome meals cheat a bit and eat some cheat foods.

If you don't like that you can try eating no carbs for 2 or 3 days, and just eat protein and good fats, then go back to eating a lot of carbs. You'll gain weight.

I personally like the cheat foods to get enough calories in if i can't do it clean.

I think I'm gonna try the zero carb thing. Sounds good. thanks RiskyBiz.

And thanks Vtek for the flax amount.
