Starving as hell...

After bulking for months and gaining few lb muscle but also few lb fat I decided to diet down for 5-6 weeks and have some photos done for tv work, modelling, etc.
I decided to run 2100 calories a day (300g protein, 150g carbs and little fats) for four days on and one off rotation. The one day off I eat anything, usually 4500-5000 claories of mainly carbs but this helps to laod me up again and keeps me on track. The problem I have is I am constantly starving as hell. Is 2100 too low?
I am 5`8, 210lb now off gear and body fat about 12%

After coming off of a bulking cycle, i am ALWAYS starving. It takes a lot of gearing up for me to motivate myself and get my body used to consuming 3500+ cals a day. But once my body gets accustomed to getting that regular supply of food... man it wants it non-stop.

The only way I can make the hunger pains stop is by basically starving myself again until my body gets used to it. This takes time and it also makes it extremely difficult for me to keep my gains after a cycle. It makes me work so hard that I ussually end up shedding bodyfat like crazy while not losing much muscle mass so in the end its a good thing for me... it just sucks to go through.

I understand what you are trying to do, but IMO, your hosed. One of the worst things you can do coming off aas is to diet hard. Your training will suffer, you will not be able to support the weight you just put on, and your gonna crash hard. Either keep your calories high for at least a couple of months to solidify your gains, or go into a cutter to maintain what you have. You need to pick something and stay with it for more than a week bro...

well i only ran two weeks of prop so not bothered about losing the gains i made, as wasnt much. I have however made and kept a good few lb in the 6 weeks prop-tren cycle before that.
I have also found in the past that if I diet hard for 4-5 weeks and get down to like 8% body fat at about 202lb naturally, then put some gear in for eight weeks with a lean bulk type diet (3800 calories all clean) i will maintain that 8% body fat and add 10lb of new muscle and look shit hot and that is my plan this time round. The dieting however, sucks.

Starving is a part of DIETING...when I diet down im always starving..you have to understand that at one point you were feeding your body constantly and alot, now your depriving it of what it was used to...just normal..

Hey Mak,

You say 2600 a day. OK. 2600x6 = 15600 calories plus a cheat day (say 4000) that is 19600 a week.

My way I consume, 4500 on a cheat and 2100 a day for three days so over a week I will end up hitting 18900, pretty much the same as your way.

Not saying I am right, but whats the advantage of your way over my way?

I think you may be right as I really am starving at 2100 a day

The reason I know my way works is because I've had clients do it for years bro. Not trying to sound cocky, but I have a pretty good grasp of how the body works when it comes to fat loss. You are eating too few calories which will cause your metabolism to crash, but not before you lose a lot of muscle, which will in turn lower your metabolism more. By eating a more moderate caloric deficit you can save your muscle and thereby keep your metabolism elevated. Taking one day off a week won't hurt, but two days is pushing it. I know the numbers look similar, but the results are very different.
