Staple foods, supplements, and training for cutting?

LaviathanX

What are some staple foods for trying to cut up? I'm not trying to go on a no-carb diet, but what are some staple foods that you eat (chicken, skim milk...), and what do you stay away from that might be considered good for you?

What supplements should one use while cutting? Only legal supps please.

What is the best form of training for maximizing fat loss in the shortest time possible? Right now, I'm boxing with a heavy bag and shadow boxing in the morning before eating, then eating an hour after.

Any suggestions?

You are probably gonna get about 20 different answers on everyones opinions. To warn you, there is no perfect diet and no perfect training regimine at all times. They can be perfect at certain times of need though.

My advice is to read up on some diets and find one that interests you and stick to it for awhile.

It's hard to determine what foods are ideal as this will depend on the diet you are following or will be following. You need to pick something that you want to follow and we might be able to give a more accurate answer.

Keep us updated and good luck bro!

There really is no one perfect diet.... its important to get in the protien and good fats.
Tuna, chicken, and egg white are always good, along with veggies, flax or fish oil. (EAT CLEAN)

As for supps glutamine and vitamins are good.

Sprints are always good for muscles and burning many cals.

The best advice is to read around the board and check out what othershave experienced. See what works for you.
good luck! :)

natural peanut butter is good while dieting. has a decent amount of good fat and kinda makes ya feel like you're cheating

Here is what I take.

Frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts, round steaks, eggs, protein powder (preferably not whey), whey for pre/post workout, sometimes no-salt-added canned tuna. Sometimes cottage cheese but it makes me retain lots of water. Sometimes tofu. I will eat any other kind of relatively lean meat/protein food if someone makes it for me. Meat/food is much better than powder for satiety and taste.

Brocolli, cauliflour, celery, asparagus, tomatoes. 'Nuff said.

Strawberries, blueberries, canteloup, cherries, grapefruit (good appetite suppressant in the morning). Sometimes apples. These are nutrient-dense (including phytonutrients) and appetite suppressing and contain lots of fiber.

Sweet potatoes, oat bran, whole wheat pasta. Sometimes cous cous and brown rice if someone else makes it for me. These are good forms of starchy carbs for sustained energy and insulin control. Eat enough fat and these won't really spike your insulin very much.

Peanut butter, flax, spoons full of lard (just kidding).

ECA, water, multivitamin, calcium chews, zinc, magnesium, diet soda.

I double up on what plornive said. Those are all great staples of a clean diet.

Keys:
Eat CLEAN and in moderation
Stay active
3 spoonfuls of lard per day (jk)
