Speaking of relationships...

Depends

Different perspective.

Some say love is nothing morew than a chemical reaction intended by evolution to keep people together for the proper raising of children. Human children take a long time to grow and become self sufficient, so it is necessary to have two parents ideally to facilitate that process. "Love" then would be nothing more than our biology telling us to do something we are programmed to feel. If thats the case, and all the chemicals are working properly, then it is no less "real" than anyone elses love. Might be less practical, but no less genuine.

If that isn't the case, and love is something beyond the physical, then how do you put limits on something that can't be comprehended.

The problem I think is that most people confuse "feeling good" with love. They are "in love" so long as it makes them feel good, and no longer "in love" when it doesn't. The understanding is poor.

I couldn't agree more.

To fall in love with someone you've first to be aware of each other existence

Internet can help make people get into contact

it is just the first step

That's the best part about it.

I fell in love the first time I saw someone once and there's no doubt in my mind it's possible physically.....still not sure about internet tho.

Okay BBF that mean I will stop telling you I love you on the phone.....

LoL, you don't even call anymore... hardly a sign of undying love.

I think it is possible. Love, to a large degree is a connection that is created. This connection is often associated with the physical/lust feeling that two people have towards one another, but in many cases the intellectual and emotional bond that is created can be both deeper and more satisfying. With this in mind, i definitely think it is possible to establish this connection via internet, phone, etc... The physical connection can be established, to a degree, by the trading of photographs and shared intimacy in written and oral correspondance. Just my opinion, and it may be wrong ... but there it is.

Its POSSIBLE, but pretty unlikely. Love is alot more than just physical attraction to one's appearance and the personality one portrays over the phone or via e-mails. Until you have been around that person a little, you don't really know who they are. The way you feel when you touch them, or kiss them is a huge part of the chemistry between two people.

I agree with you that the chemistry that is found physically between two people can't be found without actual physical interaction, and that is a huge blow. I definitely don't believe this is a scenario that plays out all of the time. However, i do truly feel that the emotional and intellectual bond that two people can develop and share can be VERY powerful.
