Gosh. I try and avoid all talks about gear with people who don't understand it now. It ends up being either a moral debate or they just flat out call me a cheater or something juvenille like that. On other message boards I'm a member of, especially anyone of the car club type ones, I try and avoid all topic asscociated with gear what so ever at all, as they are usually filled with tons of misinformation and I don't want to get in a stone throwing match with someone else. I remember that thread in chat and conversation where Frack and a couple other guys invaded this one board and basically it came out pretty well. It just takes whacking someone over the head with a brick to convince them of some things. I try to make it civil, so I don't get angry about it and have them play the rage card on me, and I think I did a good job tonight, but geez. Some people just get under my skin. I know I won't get everything right all the time when I say it, but I still think I can hold my own in some areas against most people. Example of tonight:

I don't know it I did ok or not. I've just decided to leave it alone. I think I got some of my facts skewed with the gear being legal in the UK though. Oh well. At least I didnt just lash out and start flaming the guy. Anyone else just try and avoid these topics with people now?

There are two non users that I can talk to about it. I don't even bother with everyone else, I simply tell them that I'm using proH's - and you should hear the shit I get over that.

That's part of the reason why I'm on this board so much. I can't have a decent conversation with anyone, to try and find out information, without being told how bad it is. I think I live healthier than 90% of the general population.

I only talk about gear with people that use it themselves. With others I tell them its just good eating & show them my 8 meal a day plan. That usually answers all there questions.

and I get the same discussions about food too.. . why so much why so many why those supplements... isn't there enought when u eat a fruit and some veggies per day? duh...

I allways tried to explain, but i'm much more careful now, if I notice they wanna listen I explain and after that if they excepted the story of eating I tell them more about gear if they wanna know. else i just shut up.
