Something very important you all should read..

I think no matter what there will always be someone ahead of the game. Being able to get movies and music for free has been a luxury that many of us are used to. Everyone who has the internet downloads some sort of copyrighted material. Say the President does sign this bill to a law..How many people are then kinda screwed??? Im a republican but I wouldnt vote for Bush if he did this...I save so much money by getting songs of the internet. Any type of resistance is going to cost me timeand money...

The people that own the copyrighted material would argue they're the ones getting screwed now. I suppose that's a matter of perspective.

You're right about one thing: there's always someone ahead of the game. Design better copy protection, someone will beat it. Come up with an encryption scheme, someone will break it. Legislate the hell out of it, it doesn't matter.

Napster went down, and several others rose to take its place. If and when those fall, others will rise to take their place.
