another terrible fox reality show. It was on the other week while I was doing cardio at the gym, me and my buddy were side by side bullshitting on the treadmill..not paying attention to the tv's. When out of the corner of my eye I saw something "weird".....so I did a double take and saw maybe the oddest looking human being i've ever seen. Some lady on that show rolled out looking like she was strait out of the star wars cantina. No neck whatsoever!! In fact, her entire upper torso was "squashed in". She had a normal lower body, in fact she looked like she had some pretty damn nice legs........but it looked like she got herself caught up in a trash compactor. Normal limbs, but an upper body that was "seriously" imbalanced with her lower half. She didn't dance too badly, so much respect to her.........but me and my buddy couldn't stop whistling the star wars cantina tune. Needless to say cardio became next to impossible until she was done.
Does anyone know what her condition was called?

I don't see what's so terrible about it...unlike with idol, at least you are getting to see original material every time. I guess it depends on whether or not you give a shit about dancing, but this one actually offers some kind of artistic value. A lot of people can sing pretty well...very very very few people can dance the way these people can.
Don't remember what it was called, but she only had like three vertebrae in her back where most of the rest of us have seven.

poor girl, was it a heriditary condition or was it the result of an accident? Did she advance at all? I am no judge of dancing, but it looked to me at least like she had some skillz. She just looked awkward as heck.
and about the show, it's another idol rip off. The show will be centered around drama created by the judges trying to get these people to cry after their dance routines........if it was a straight up dance competition, that would be one thing. But since it was created by FOX it WILL pander to the lowest common denominator..............because unfortunately no one will watch it unless they do that shit.
She was born with if, f I recall correctly...didn't advance, but didn't seem upset by it. She did her thing, got respect for it, and left head held high.
I guess I disagree with you on the show. I think the dancing is amazing enough to outweigh the rest. But this show isn't nearly as bad as idol with teh abckstory drama stuff.

it was on yesterday, the premiere. i see great potential for this season!

lol I said in my previous post she didn't advance. It's a serious competition....there are no blind scotts (charity case from last american idol). She was amazing for her limitations and it wouldn't shock me if they give her a little spot in the finale like they have other disabled contestants in the past, but she never would have had a chance and it would have been patronizing to advance her because she's good "for someone with her disability." She was happy just to have a chance to dance for them.

i never watched it, just bits and pieces from episodes. its hard to get into it when you don't watch it from the beginning.

i have no idea why so few people know of this guy! his fingers seem to have a mind of their own, so effortless.....
lol, girl i know. i can't wait until they start doing the finale routines. did you watch last night? there was this AMAZING tap dancer and this cop guy who did the Louisiana something dance, it was awesome, he seemed to be floating on air.

lol @ the judges being scared when the African dancer did his jump, and at that guy that had to get medical attention from the paramedics after he was rejected!
i just want them to hurry though the auditions and get to the routines and dancing stuff...hopefully most of the dances will have the plot/storyline going on, love those!

thats awesome! do you teach as well? its great when you let the beat of the music take over your body and just move to the rhythm of it. i think i love dancing as much as i like watching others dance. i'm willing to try anything, i don't care if i suck...as long as its fun, which has always been the case!

No, I don't teach, but have been dancing since I was a kid. Also took dancing in acting schooI, but it runs through my veins, LOL!

your welcome babe, its awesome you like his music as much as i adore it. oh and if you ever get the opportunity and it rains(i got this thing for rain, love to watch, smell, hear it, feel it) anyways rained all day that day, i put on "drifting", automatic replay. amazing...watching the rain, hearing the gentle pelting of droplets, the beat of the tune in the background, felt an awesome calmness just overcome me, don't know how to explain it, but i feel it every time i repeat this experience.
