So I'm allergic to Whey/casein? Would ginger root be helpfull?

I have a REALLY f*cked up stomach. Every time I drink a protein shake my stomach goes nuts. Same happends when I drink milk or eat to much cottage cheese. So I went to the doc and did a lactose test, came out negative so I know I'm not lacto intillerant. The doc said it could be from cow milk, many people are allergic or intollerant to cow milk and things from milk, like Whey, cottage cheese, etc.

This is VERY hard for me and I do not know what the hell I should do about this. I only drink Whey protein after my workout so I do not get that much problems, but I must say it is very hard. If I go to a dinner I have to think very carefully bekfore I put any food in my mouth. It takes about 10-30 minutes from I eat whey or milk to I get sick gas attacs and stomach pains. I can't live like that and would like to know If you think that Ginger Root would be helpfull. Seems to help some people with stomachpains and so on from a high proteinintake.
 
if it is a digestive problem then it will help..

it is kind of hard to say with your situation, but it is definitely worth a try. at the very least it should decrease gas and stomach discomfort..

+ its cheap..
