So I was gonna bet everything on a game this weekend, but

I have no clue about football. Should I follow the pile-ons? Do the superbowl statistics effect individual games?

I was gonna go with New Orleans or the Bears, but, in the former, Swole put his karma on the Philly for the superbowl, and in the latter, the Bears game has a huge spread.

In this thread, we will help football-idiot Samote decide who and which game to bet on so he can get more karma to give away!

i actually like a 4 team underdog moneyline parlay

seahawks, colts, eagles, pats

big money right there

Is there a reason to bet on the underdogs? The pile-ons suggest otherwise. Then again, you are very wise when it comes to football.

Hmm...

I was thinking Bears or Saints, but a few very knowledgeable people are betting otherwise.

Sheesh, winning karma through betting is complicated. I totally want to be the first (to my knowledge) to make a 1M karma award thread, lol.

Seattle v. Chigaco... in the Superbowl betting thread, Chicago has odds of 4.85, whereas Seattle has 20.5 odds. Does the spread of 8.5 make that big of a difference?

Exaggerate? I'm not familiar with football terminology.

the underdogs receive points. the Eagles are +5.5 going into New Orleans. if the Eagles lose by 5 or less you win without them actually winning.

that makes it so the Chicago has to win by 2 scores. that's a pretty big margin.

The Saints will either win by a big margin, or lose a close game. They will not win a close game.

The Bears game is iffy, but the 3:1 moneyline is good enough for me to bite.

Playoff Patriots at a +170 dog? LOL. I'll take it.

I would make 2 bets. Both moneyline parlays.

Bet 1: Colts, Eagles, Seahawks, Patriots to win outright
Bet 2: Colts, Eagles, Bears, Patriots to win outright

one of these should hit
