was on my friend's kickball team and approached her at the bar they go afterwards (yes, they have kickball leagues down here. mostly recent grads from U of miami and local universities. you just play kickball out in front of the Bay in downtown and get drunk. its great)

we hit it off totally and basically lost my friends for an hour + just talking ot her.
i got her to come back to my place with my friends to go out with us(took some convincing since she was tired) and we were talking 1 on 1, but i went to take a shower and by the time i came out, she was yawning and ready to go
she liked my friends, so i figured they'd distract her while i washed up.

not sure what i was thinking, but i didn't walk her out to her car. i got her number, but i think she got mad about the fact i didnt try to kiss her. she was definetely interested it seemed....but i was kinda chicken shit and didn't close the deal

you think this is salvageable? experts (key word) weigh in please

sure theres a momentum to every seduction and it detracts from the whole thing if you keep missing escalation points (it goes stale, isnt as spontaneous, the drop out of trance mode etc) but youre still gaming, well and truly - it just means theres a little more comfort, a little more qualification, and a little less raw attraction

on the brightside, not kissing her means youre not going to have buyers remorse. youre that safe guy that doesnt rush or grope or act like an ass. theres a lot less social and sexual pressure involved in being around you. sure youre going to have to build tension again, but the bright side is that youre consolidating in the meantime. chances of her flaking went down.

so stay fun. stay flirty. stay positive. there is no downside to knowing you. you didnt kiss cos you didnt feel like it. you think its cute that she got frustrated. laugh about it, give her a twirl, and change the subject. youre playing kickball next week, itd be nice to see her but if not, thats cool too

not kissing closing is fine on the first "date" IMO, just be playful about it next time...something along the lines of, "i wanted to kiss you last time but i wanted our first to be super special" *gay smile*

seriously i have my own method of kiss closing

it involves getting comfy enough to watch tv while spooning on my couch (or at least having my arm around her neck and her resting her head on my delt and chest) then kiss her neck/ear/head while she's the inside spoon...if you don't want to/can't kiss those parts then lightly smell her hair, i usually let out a little "mmm, you smell good"....then i lightly grab her chin and face her lips to me...100% of the time one of these two methods work

but i don't think you will have problems kiss closing, sometimes the timing just isn'tt there
