Made some money at the tables last night so I went out and bought a harley Night Train today. I don't even have motorcycle licence anymore so I better get busy, the bike should be ready in about a week. Anyone else here ride?

so this is kinda how my bike will look. my pipes will be all black and I'll have the different rims from below (they will be black also though). Also I'll have a different rear fender. I'm stoked to ride it this summer but then I will park it for the next couple of years while I'm overseas.

All Harley owners are also Harley mechanics :)

I hear stuff like that sometimes but would argue it. I probably know 2-3 hundred harley owners personally and none of them feel that way. Sure they will change the oil or little things like that but that is about all. Older Harleys that is probably true but now that phrase mainly comes from people trying to bring down #1, kinda like not supporting the US just because we are on top. IMO of course.

Blunt - I am not a fan of Harley's due to the fact that the performance is lacking for the price. You can get a similiar model that has more performance for ALOT less.

The "Night Train" edition is my favorite model by them though.

how much did it run ya?

Even though 90% of harley's parts are made in Japan? They had to rely on Jap parts cause most american made products are junk anymore. My dad used to ride harley's but got tired of rebuilding every year. The one you got is well suited for your needs though. I doubt you'll be putting over 30k miles on it in a year like my old man. He's just obsessed with riding long distances.
