South georgia sux. I've heard Mississippi is a lot worse though I don't see how. You can drive below Macon for 3 hrs and not see anything but tombstone making places. Oh yeah and the Varsity in Atlanta sux. You go to the counter and the 'staff' just stands there and looks at you and rolls their eyes around like they're gonna roll right outta their head. The food taste like greasy day old shit. If you're in ATL go to the Cheetah3 (if it's not closed down yet). Look at the building right beside it with the covered windows. That's where the 'dancers' take their customers for a little extra service. Not that I've ever done it, I just used to know a couple of girls that worked there.

True Dat. South georgia sucks. And the bad thing is that all the people that live down in those places do not realize that there is another world outside their little trailer parks.

I was offered a job in Macon when I finished undergrad. They offered it over the phone, which I thought was amazing...until I drove into town to formalize things and saw what God had wrought there. I dropped a quarter in a payphone on that hill overlooking the city, said "no thanks, I'd rather pick cotton if it comes to that," and came home.

I spent some time in Orlando at the theme parks and then visited Savannah. Atlanta is my next stop.

so what did you think of Savannah? I dated a girl who when to Savannah College of Art and Design.... and let me tell you that place is the biggest shithole I've ever seen. I know I'm in the minority when I say that but we drove all over the town.... not just the tourist places. That place is a dump. For a minute I thought I was in Maryland all over again.

I have never been to Maryland. But Savannah sucked donkey balls. It was like Coyote Glutch with a beach. And the beach is crappy as well. Brown water, hard packed mud instead of sand. I did the Riverwalk (SP?) part, I visited Tybee Island, and man was I bored. How the fuck do people live down here? And those fucking little tourist buses with the bells ringing were driving around everywhere.

the only time I've ever seen Macon was last year when I rented a car in SouthBeach and drove back to Atlanta after a long week of partying. It was pretty scary, but then they may have just been sleep deprivation talking.

I try not to go outside the Perimeter in Atlanta or midtown/downtown/buckhead for that matter.....you'll find people like Dballer in those parts.

enjoy your stay Plorer, although M'Brains is right, nothing goes on here on monday night, unless "Flakes" interests you, or I don't know if you've heard of "the RedChair"---which seems to be the spot for many midtownites these days.
