I spent $50 on a stuffed ziplock back the size of a sandwhich bag back in January. Im about halfway through it (and thats with two people hitting it a few times a month). I consider myself "successful" as in that Im about to go to grad school for accounting. Only affects me when Im high, not really any other time.

Hmmmmm... NO.


You put down the joint completely for a few years first. Then you work hard and sober, make something of yourself first.... THEN you can smoke a spliff 2 times per week, to release the tensions of your high-paced Ad Executive position at the most controlversial site on the internet... And you can afford to smoke the good shit too, no head aches, lazy feeling or sleepiness... Good reefer in moderation. It will help keep you away from the bottle and nicotine too. Nothing but therapy at this point.

So, you can be successful while smoking then? Or you have to give it up then go back to it? I really think it comes down to the individual.

Good quality reefer will not fuck with you the next day or demotivate you. If anything, it will make you want to get up and do shit. One of my homeboys is a Mortgage Broker, he shops from the same dealer I do. Whenever he smokes, he hits the phones HARD! Cold calling for hours, and selling like no tomorrow.

I don't like to talk on the phone when I'm high, but I like writting. I write most of my poetry/lyrics when I'm high. I just go on a rampage.

I just haven't seen many people do it.
When you have little money, you can't afford the $20 / 0.8g stuff. So you buy the $5 / 1.3g bags of seedy bullshit... The difference in what it does to you during/after/next day is like night and day....

So i booked some flights for me and my brother to travel over xmas, so i told him he owed me $375 and he said he doesnt have the money. Guy is 27, no mortgage, no kids, no girlfriend , no car payments and has 3 roommates to share rent. And he has 2 jobs!
i know he smokes daily but good lord how much is he spending on that shit?!
is the motto once a pot smoker, a smoker for life? All of his buddies who smoke are in the same boat, broke but have no real expenses, and have jobs.
