I would never bring a girl around my son untill I know she is at least right for me. Talking with the girl about her feelings on my son first prior to getting them both involved is IMO the best way to work that. Don't want either of them getting attached.

I have an issue with people proliferating LIES - and using abusive language.

And as for Pdaddy - he opened up that can of worms by his lonesome for attacking me PERSONALLY on a thread where he posted up a pic of his hair and asked for opinions. I offered my honest assessment, said the hair made him look like a dopey kid which it did, was totally unbecoming of a man who is *intelligent* (as I THOUGHT he was). So for that I earned an all out personal lambasting?

Please get your facts straight.

Everyone has their own approach but bringing ANY people around your children that you dont know all that well is foolish. Good God, especially when you date a lot. Hell, I wouldnt even let my girls meet my platonic FRIENDS - I was THAT protective over them. Maybe I was a bit paranoid because I had to be but I dont see why the big rush to socialize with a gf/bf and child especially when you only have that child infrequently due to whatever circumstances.

I guess it is only the women then who do this are labeled all sorts of derogatory names. Lucky thing for the single daddies... eh?

As for using foul language - good luck flustering this old broad. I tended bar for years and now I travel in the disgusting circles of O&G - I can assure you, there is very little you could say that would fluster me.

There is a HYUGE difference between flustering someone and proliferating hatred and anymosity. We can agree to disagree but proliferating hatred and fostering anymosity just isn't funny.
