It only started hurting recently on the outside of my elbow right about where my forearm meets my elbow in the bend it doesn't feel like a muscle from what I've been reading it sounds like tennis elbow, what kind of remedies or vitamins could help with healing process I've at least cone to the conclusion I need to stay away from lifting for about a week or so, its only hurting when I do curls and a little when I workout triceps

Your developing tendinitis... Anti inflammatories and rest is the remedy...

Ice it heat it rest repeat honestly I wouldn't take any NSAID unless it was bothering you all day ice should reduce the swelling enough. Are you taking any fish oil?

Right now, don't do lifts like skull crushers, or over head tricep extensions. Those lifts put a lot of stress on that area.

I didn't even think about the overhead tricep extensions cause I only did biceps yesterday but after you saying that just mimicking the motion hurts more than the curling motion

I had this problem for 4-5 months. I did everything, ice, heat, rest it for 2 weeks, KT Tape. The KT tape helped more than anything, but it would not go away. So I finally broke down and told my doc(I workin the med field, so it was easy access) to give me a cortisone shot. Had the shot, put the KT tape on and rested it one week. Have not had any issue since then and its been 2 months.

I think the problem is your ulnar collateral ligament, the same ligament that is well know in baseball because of Tommy John Surgery. Those lifts just put a lot of stress on the ligament.. and it's recommended that pitchers avoid lifts like that in their weight training regimen.

Rest is really the only thing you need.

I had ...and still have ...just a little of the same problem with my left elbow.

tried the heat, cold, heat cold...tried special creme the doc gave me, but honestly these guys are correct. Just lighten up the weight and give it time. mine has been about 2.5 months and just starting to get much better this week.
