Slight ligament pain and thightness on the outside part of my elbow

I had ...and still have ...just a little of the same problem with my left elbow.

tried the heat, cold, heat cold...tried special creme the doc gave me, but honestly these guys are correct. Just lighten up the weight and give it time. mine has been about 2.5 months and just starting to get much better this week.

yeah I remember I did 10X12 pullups and then 3 days later did them again. my elbows started getting inflamed. plus i was playing a lot of tennis as well. it was the combination that got me.. i eased off the tennis and dropped my pullups to 3 sets only instead of 10.. inflammation was gone.

now if i would have continued to pound away guess what would of happened. would not have been good at all and more damage would have been done.. its important to LISTEN to your body

inflammation is a signal you are hurt and your body is trying to repair it.

do not stop the inflammation, allow it to heal.. if it hurts don't do it.. continue to workout just don't go heavy.. it will go away just don't keep pounding at it

Advice I also wanted to hear, had 3 days off gym , had pain in elbow .
I'm guessing it's ligament damage due to lifting heavier each week and form not correct . Back to the gym for me

There are some really good tennis elbow rehab exercises you can do to speed up the healing process. I get it from time to time too...usually when I try to do things like tricep skullcrushers which always bother my left elbow badly for some reason
