Sleep problems?

Lately, I've had a very hard time getting to sleep, (probably due to the week after spring break, and lost an hour), any of you feeling these effects of not going to sleep?

Uhh yea definitely. I'm in college and the first few nights back sucked. I'd suggest not napping and going to be early one night to catch up. Just hope you don't have mono.

all i can say is this: never get prescribed a sleep med. i got prescribed them 2 years ago and now they are pretty much destroying my life. im trying to come off of them and it seems its almost an impossibility.

That sucks man, what did he prescribe? I dabble in 12 mg Ambien every once in awhile if I am too fired up to sleep. I'm not hooked or dependant upon them. I use them maybe once every two weeks or so.

I have to advise staying away from sleep meds and at ALL costs stay away from 'home remedies' like Nyquil and Tylenol PM etc.....and don't try getting hooked up with Xanax or Valium......for a young guy, all that crap does is artifically knock you out and cause problems for you down the road when you become dependant on them.

I suggest not napping, and getting up early, even if it is 5 AM and you're dead tired, wake up and do some cardio. You'll probably pass out naturally by 10 PM.

lets just say im fucked up. i got to the point where 100 mg of ambien in one night would get me no sleep. im now a benzo addict...i regularly mix trazodone, with klonopin or xanax, coupled with lunesta. i tried gettin off cold turkey once and was awake 11 days. i cant imagine how to even get off of them which is exactly why i say STAY AWAY from that shit.

I'm going with biggT on this one... tough out the day a lil beat and try to get some sleep the next night. I've been having the same problem on and off... I think it's due to the change in weather for me...

Needtosleep

This is a great product for good sleep!

Benzos and opiates are the few drug types that can kill you quitting cold turkey. Be careful.

Ambiens fucked my head up. I would take 1 or 2, black out, and sometimes go insane, seriously weird stuff.

Benadryl is fine. It gives me such a hangover that it's not really worth it, but doc says no addiction potential or danger. BTW nicotine directly counteracts benadryl's cholinergic effects, so smoking 5 cigs right away in the am will completely free you from the hangover. Something I cannot stomach!

Still having trouble sleeping you should listen to BRR, needtosleep is a great product.. This sleep aid is not like Ambien or any other and leaves no effects in the a.m as you wake up fresh and renewed from a nice night of sleep.
