:( I'm sick again!!! This is the 5th time this year i've been horribly sick, and prier to this year I might have got sick like once every 2 years. Maybe my immune system is really worn out from all of my activities i have no idea... but damn does this suck. I can't get anything to stay down today either, so ill be getting 0 grams of protein today :( Ok im sorry, this was pointless but I had to rant.
 
Maybe you're overtraining? Working out can have an immune supressing effect when your cortisol goes through the homeostatic roof. Why can't you get protein?
 
Do you take alot of supplements like creatine, ephedra, caffeine, or anything else? Some people's bodies just can't handle these substances and it makes them sick. I know, I'm one of them.
 
Can you get a protein shake to stay down? You've probably tried that, but I thought I'd mention it.
 
creatine, I just started takeing creatine about 5 days ago, I've been intching all over like a mofo from it, and it made my gut hurt for the first couple days, now Today I get a chest cold, it feels like its not that bad and will only stay for about 3-4 days, but still ... this sucks, oh well
 
yeah buddy it's maybe overtraining or u just don't get enough rest to recover!maybe take a few days off...
 
More than likely nutrition and not enough rest. Get more than enough of both. and stay away from sick people. I don't even like leaving the house becuz of this reason.

I get about 8-9 hours of sleep each night.

My diet is pretty good, I get tons of carbs, not sure how many but 500g i'd guess, probably like 70-100g of fat each day and 225-275g of protein a day. Lately i've been getting alot more sugar than i normally do, but thats the only change I guess.

it seams that your diet is fine and u get enough sleep also....so how is your training look like??
hope u getting better now!
 
Get tested for AIDS... if it isn't AIDS start taking mega doses of Vitamin C. You need to kick start your immune system.
 
;) It definetly isn't AIDS. I do take multivitamins, but I guess I'll have to start taking some extra Vitamin C pills. As for overtraining, it might be im not sure, I follow WS training on monday tuesday thursday and friday, do plyo on tuesday and thursday right after the WS stuff, and have martial arts classes on monday/wednesday. I'm usually atleast playing bball or something 1 day a week also, or doing something strenuous.
 
Dude... Zicam. I shit you not. I have an uber pathetic immune system, especially during allergy season and this stuff rocks nads. As soon as you feel it coming on, use it for a day or two and VOILA. I have avoided a a couple colds so far. I hope I never have to miss gym time to a cold again.

Are you getting enough vegetables?

And have you considered adding a liquid multi vitamin?
 
As for the vegetables...no way :(, I don't like any veggies except for potatoes. I try to get my fiber from other sources, but i think that may be lacking lately also. I get a liquid multivitamin somehow about once a week as well.
