I had surgery thurs. for an impinged rotator cuff. The procedure was subacromion decompression (i.e., they shaved some of the under-part of my acromion bone to make more space in my shoulder. The shoulder hurts, but feels a lot better than I expected. I'm not wearing a sling, and am already doing some light stretching. However, I know I have a long, hard road to travel to get back to lifting status. Has anyone out there had this procedure? How was the rehab? When did you start lifting again, and what does your current routine look like compared to your pre-injury routine. Thanks in advance for your input.
