Shoulder pain

I get major shoulder pain in my left shoulder during chest day also during shoulder workouts but not as bad. I stretch before and during my workouts but it doesn't help much. I think it may be my rotator cuff but not sure. Does any one have some good advice for me on how to beat this or at least work around or cope with this shitttttty handicap

My guess is it's your AC Joint.

On the top of your shoulder is there a small bump that hurts when you do Military press or bench press? The AC is a usual culprit.

The best way to fix it is to STOP doing military and bench press for 6 - 8 weeks. Instead, you need to strengthen the Supraspinatus by doing rotator cuff exercises with very light (2.5 lb) weights (3 sets of 20).

Ice the shoulder for a few weeks as often as you can.

Just wanted to say that I have done NO upper body training for the last month and my shoulder is definitely getting better. I can tell that its not completely healed because it still feels funny, so I'm going to give it another week and then start doing extremely light weight rotator cuff exercises for a few weeks. Hopefully, then I will be able to start training again.
 
I'm going through the same thing right now and have a physio app. next Tuesday. I've gone to physio for my other shoulder and it worked awesome.

I had the same problem last January and ignored it, got a bit better. Then in June I really tore the shit out of it and paid for it. Took a solid two months off just did light cardio. Seems better now, but it still makes noise when going heavy. Sucks, I feel your pain bro!

Time off then use dumbbells. No barbell chest press, over head press etc. Find a shoulder rehab work out. Shoulders are the most often "broken parts" on weight lifters. Take some time and be careful what you do that involves your shoulder.
 
i'm on my time off at the moment.

and I can't believe it, I' used the eliptical twice in two days and I'm in a state of pain/tension again :(
