I was against the Iraq war. I don't give a shit about what they're doing to monks in Tibet. The monks were doing the same thing to the peasants before China came into the picture, the monks just want their power back. The fact of the matter is that the US has an economic interest in maintaining good relations with China, it's symbiotic. They need consumers and we demand cheap goods. Hypothetically, China could dump their US debt on the market and destroy our economy, they would cause serious damage to their economy but we would get pwned by China.
