china's not the only one that owns the U.S........shows what a whore the U.S has become.....anyway, only a matter of time before china can militarily take us in a conventional war. "However", they will come to learn that when you become a superpower.........it's the nukes that own the day. And when it comes to that, nobody wins. We never came close to going to war with Russia, it's amazing to me how people fell for that. I'm sure that both the U.S and China will play up this new "great rivalry" so that the people running the weapons business make out like fat fucks. The rest of you average shmoes will be running around screaming anti chinese shit...........and there's some of us that will just have to laugh. It's all a big fucking game.......and the way it's played is what keeps a certain group of individuals at the top and in control of ALL the earth's resources. Otherwise, vietnam/korea/iraq.........all good right? Even though I would kill to go to tibet and spend a few months there......I agree that it's not something anybody needs to be militarily involved in. That being said it's completely reasonable for people to boycott chinese shit for this........THAT"S the kind of stuff you do to exact change from a country. China is going to have to recognize that right now they don't "world class" respect.........they're just viewed as a cheap source of labor. They want to be a superpower with superpower respect...........well, they're probably going to have to give Tibet their sovereingnity back to get it. And what a cheap price that would be.........they're fucking idiots for letting this go on as long as it has. Maybe they want to milk some more political capital out of it and then ceremoniously and piously "give back" the tibetens their freedom........I dunno. But Tibet, as far as anyone can tell........means nothing to the Chinese. It has no tangible resources........it's not a terribly nice place to live.......it's just all around simple. They don't need it and giving it back gains them more on the world stage than anything..............fucking idiots.

china isnt a country the way the USA or canada or australia is a country. various provinces still occasionally rise up and want to secede. if they let go of tibet, others will want to go the same way, and the place will implode
