I'm sick of paying 80 bucks every 2 weeks to get my hair cut. It needs it this often because
My hair is really thick and grows like a fucking weed with all the protein I ingest. And screw those midline BoRics places; they're nothing but degenerate hair school new grads that jack my shit up every time. The last barber shop I went to I only paid 5 bucks but the guy put fucking shaving cream in my hair and tried trimming imaginary ear hair with a straight razor... Hell no.

I just talked it through and the shit is coming off right now
 
i don't remember the last time i paid for a haircut. i buzz mine with a #2 or #3 guard and then don't cut it again until it's so long that it bothers me. which is usually 3-4 months.
 
absolutely not. and you are a fool for paying so much for a haircut. possibly :rainbow: too.

You looked good before, but I like it shorter. I feel that way about almost all guys, though.

I pay 20 bucks including a 5 dollar tip in a place where the cost of living is the highest in the country. 80 bucks sounds like a rip off. Don't you have any old buddies who opened barber shops?

he probably uses j crew and sebastian textuizing stuff in his hair, that + highlights + Keratin + blow dry and flat iron can get pricey ;)

No lie, this thread has made me seriously consider just buzzing my head right now.

I haven't shaved my head since 6th or 7th grade. It looked horrible back then but curious to see it as an adult. I need a haircut badly right now and my hair is pissing me off. The woman who cuts my hair has nothing open until tuesday.

I shave my head 1-2 times per year just to change things up. I get bored with the same old thing and it's easier, faster, and cheaper although I do miss going to the barber when I do it. I like the hot lather on the back of my neck with a straight razor to line it up and the cooling shit they put on you. $18 with tip. As a matter of fact I think I'm gonna go to barber tomorrow now that I think of it.
 
Used to shave my head consistently. Got my men's salon now - $45 with tip for a legit cut and style. A tad more mature.

I shave it maybe once a year now around summertime.

Yup, same here. It really is a great feeling the first few days. Cycling an annual shave is a good way to keep healthy hair too.

I get my haircut here in SD at a barber shop that charges $9.25. It was $8 when I started going there 6 years ago. The place I was going before that was $7.

Now, I get my $9.25 haircut, I give my russian barber $15.00, we say, "Das vidanya!" and I see him again in 4-5 weeks.

No way I'd pay $80. You made a smart choice shaving your head. Think of all that wasted money you will now be saving! By the way, you look just like a guy I used to work with. Never noticed it before in your other pics (probably because I've never seen the guy I used to work with's ass). The hair looks good brah.

I pay my friend 4$ to cut my hair, her husband then takes the money as part to go pay for his finook haircut at some fancy schmancy place... you know what, that 4$ haircut from her, that's never been trained and never cut professionally, is better than anything I've ever paid for at a salon and my barber died several years ago and I just can't find one as good as him except for my Akra and she doesn't charge me at all, but I give her 4 bucks anyway.

Christ man, now that's total freedom. I love how my head feels in my pillow the most I think. Shaved head+ Egyptian cotton = winning

This. I dont mind paying for a legit haircut and superior service. Plus the chick is super cool and pretty cute to boot.
 
My son started losing his hair in his early 20s (he got to keep it a few years longer than his old man). His head has been shaved for nearly two years. He took it in his stride, said "Screw it, I'll lift weights and have a hot body." I'm glad the shaved look has become, what would you call it? Cool? Acceptable?

His father never came to terms with his baldness and to this day will NEVER appear in public without a hat or doo-rag. When you're nearly 50 that's sad -- like, one step away from a comb-over sad.

i don't even have a clue what that is...i use plain, clear aloe vera gel in my hair...simple, effective, healthy for my hair and no build up of gunk.
 
I use hair clippers. I use a 1" guard, but I don't go all the way down to the scalp. I know how my head is shaped better than anybody else, so I know where to cut longer and where to cut shorter to give it the shape I want. I have a vanity mirror that I hold with one hand and I cut with the other. I've never gapped the back up. It's actually pretty easy, and it doesn't take me a long time.

-My avatar is me pre-op. I got to keep the big black man dick, but now I'm just a lot sexier. It's win win.

-I dunno who Jon79 and vinny chase are. I don't really get any celebrity comparisons. I'm my own level of awesomeness.

-Cindy, come on over babe. I already told you I'd give you toxic shock syndrome with my tongue, what are you waiting for?
 
I think I might bleach my hair blonde this summer.... gotta change it up every once an awhile.
