Should I see a dermotologist or just get accutane?

tetra would be the best first choice.......accutane is a serious,serious compound.....I think you should do some reading before you jump into that fire pit....especially the sides associated with it...

My son was on that shit for 6 months...and 1 of the things that the Dr. said was becarefull of the mood swings and suicidal tendencies that the field tests for fda approval.....

Please guys think before giving someone you dont even know advice like that...you can honestly fuck someone up doing that...Come On Guys

I agree...if you have medical coverage for a dermatologist then I think you should go see one. Either way, good luck.

If a Doctor told me i'm going to put your son on accutane, and oh by the way you might want to check in on him from time to time since he might have mood swings and want to kill himself.

Im probably not going to put him on it.

There are only a couple of actual cases of suicide while on accutane. I will bet you $100,000 that they already had a condition.

It's true if someone already has a chemical imbalance in the brain, accutane may be the thing that pushes them over. the % of users of accutane who do commit suicide is VERRRRY LOWWWWWWW.

Tanning, changing sheets, all the scrubbing in the world none of that will clear up your acne....Go on a low dose of accutane and you can sleep in a fucking bowl of oil and not have zits. Get some as soon as you can and you wil be amazed at what it does for your skin

When you say low dose, how low are you talking...40mg? 20mg?

I was prescribed accutane after years of being on all this stupid medication that never worked out. I had horrible back acne from my last cycle so that didn't help. But wow, accutane kicked in and the acne disappeared completely. Unbelievable how this medication works. I also did notice the mood swings, and depression for the months that I did accutane.

i just went to the derma this past week cause i broke out for the first time in my life on my chest and back after my last cycle. he suggested accutane and having done all my research before even going there (i even purchased ag guys accutane but wound up never taking it) i told him i wanted to think about it. id rather try some other methods/topical treatments before jumping on the accutane wagon. the binder he gave me lists all the sides, a diet you have to stay on and a release that you have to sign and date that you know all about the sides.

Be careful with that shit. Very powerful drug.
Acne runs in my family and I ended up taking it
as a last resort. It worked well, however, there are powerful
sides. My skin was always so damn dry and red. My lips got so dry that when I smiled I would crack and bleed. The acne went away, but what they don't tell you is that you will get scaring.
Use it only as a last resort. That is my recommendation.

I was skeptical at first but went ahead and gave it a shot. Thought it was wierd but very pleased with how effective it was for me. I'd be caucious leaving it on your face over night though, looked like I had a bad sun burn for a day.
