i agree, i had i believe 5 or 6 blood transfusions when i was in the hospital. didnt seem too hard to obtain, when i needed one it was there

I think the rules are strict for a reason.
I donate blood, and you should see all the questions, it is fairly difficult to qualify for non-gays too.
I don't know the stats to do with gays having unprotected sex, but it seems to me that if there is no chance of getting pregnant, then the odds of using a condom would drop somewhat. People think they're invincible you know.

No. I think everyone should be allowed to donate blood, especially since the blood's going to be tested anyways.

Yes. AIDS *does* primarily affect gay men, and therefore gay men should not be in a position to donate blood.
