It's certainly not easy, man! lol, but I'm working on it. Figure it this way - attention = life. It's that simple. If everyone decided to completely not pay any attention whatsoever to Person A, then Person A would effectively not exist. When you think about it that way, the idea of "attention" takes on a whole new meaning. Plus, you are who you keep as company. No reason for me to interact with lower value people, haters if you will, since I get nothing in return.

i know nothing about that. i'd disagree with what everyone else thought, if that's the case. AAP, for example, can talk shit to just about anyone here when it comes to a physique. i (and plenty of others who don't have impressive physiques) cannot, and would not.

that's just one example, though...it doesn't have to be about physiques, but the idea can be applied across the board.

Agreed. I think sense making is the key to good pwnage. For instance, HR tried to go the "Gotti" route. Where is the sense in that? We have a country bumpkin trying to tell a full-blooded Italian that he is trying to be Italian? Also, I haven't spoked my hair for maybe 2 years.

Nah, I have no reason to lie about it. They never do anything to guys who commit domestic violence, anyway. They are making him attend about 6 months of bullshit domestic violence. This is his second foray into court for the same thing, plus he was in court twice for beating his kids. I'm sure we aren't all making it up.

Those domestic violence classes are bullshit. Put them all in a room together so they can all reinforce to one another that "the bitch deserved it."

i also don't go the route of assuming that people are lying, no matter how tempting it would be to say it, or how likely it is given our view of the world or certain situations. even though bullshitting on the internet is easy, unless there's an obvious discrepancy or contradiction between multiple statements, i just can't say. for every dude who brags about this or that, there's someone else quick to call him out as a liar. in this world, so many things are possible, no matter how unlikely, so i'll usually ignore that stuff because it doesn't matter. i hope.

in related news, it's colder than a polar bear's cunt today and i'm feeling the early stages of illness. i'm pretty sure 10 mile run, outside, with shorts and a t-shirt on, is the answer.

There's quite a few valiant attempts at ownage, but nothing I see as true. KB doesn't need me to defend him, as he is plenty insightful and confident of himself to do so...but I want to make a few points.

I see heatherrae as a very intelligent woman; as a matter of fact sometimes I think she's a beautifully crafted BrothaBill alter. She's sort of a jack-of-all-trades chick...there's always something she can contribute to a conversation. While at times she annoys me with her "I know better and you suck, Gotti Spike wannabe e-gangsta, you're just a little e-thug whose emotion and logic process I have yet to understand" I know she and I...and probably KB...would get along fine over some wine and homemade marinara.

I think it's a little unfair to talk shit about anyone posting pictures and as upfront as KB is. I've met the kid, got drunk with the kid, made fun of the pictures in his room, met the people he works with. KB is as social as you would expect him to be...and yes, I know for a fact he gets wimins. You can't sit there and talk shit about the things he claims, especially with the insight he comes up with...not to mention he never said he was anything he wasn't. He doesn't claim he's jacked, bangs 9/10 rated women, makes $834,343,434 dollars, etc. Whatever. I think it's a little unfair, that's all.

And neither of us spike our hair anymore. I love it when stereotypes of Italians are thrown around yet some people get pissy when their name is merely whispered.

Well, no one I had ever been involved with had hit me either. Believe me, it is shocking when it happens. By the time they get around to hitting you, they have beaten you emotionally for a LONG time. I used to not even be able to even look a waiter in the eye when ordering dinner for fear that he would call me a whore loud enough for everyone in the restaraunt to hear or leave me there with no ride home. Yes, he actually has done that.

I am part Italian, native american, and English. It isn't that I have a stereotype of Italians. I just think sometimes Italians have stereotypes of Italians. Do you know what I mean? I see some Italians (not talking about anyone on here) who feel that they have to act like they are straight out of a mob movie. I think it cheapens a rich and beautiful culture. That's all.

It is what they show on tv, I know everytime the news comes on they are gonna have some stupid a@@ on there with no teeth and every movie that comes out that suppose to have coonasses on there always have a terrible accent, wearing over-all's, married to their cousin---It pisses me off because it is so not like that in general. That is like saying everyone that lives in California has blonde hair and surfs...just isn't so.

Problem with non-Italians who didn't grow up in certain areas is this - a LOT of what you see in those movies (especially Sopranos) is based on some hardcore everyday realities. You would NEVER understand that unless you grew up around that element.
